So it's slower than a Focus ST and fully loaded costs over £1k more than the A45 AMG and barely any cheaper than an RS3?wobble

It's much more discreet than an RS3 and more importantly some low life won't try to burgle you for it. Try saying that for an RS3 or Golf R wink

The fact that it might not be stolen is still rather a weak argument to buy one though.

I decided to save £15k and buy a Skoda Superb 280 estate. Similarly adequate in terms of handling, but vastly more practical, bigger and faster, and a nicer place to sit. Probably more reliable and cheaper to run, too. Plus four wheel drive.

really? You like professional scumbags breaking into your home and burgling you for a car? Golf R's and RS3's are cat nip for burglars in the north west where I live. You couldn't give me either of those cars.

It shouldn't have a T5 badge, at least badge it with a T4 instead.
