The engine is a Ford EcoBoost a-la Mustang.

If it hits the quoted 450bhp then its had some work since leaving the Ford factory. It will need a different turbo, downpipe and IC.... and 450bhp is on the very edge of what the stock internals can handle.

I think 350-400bhp will be a much more likely figure for the eventual car.

Given that the EcoBoost a 2.3 litre unit in the Focus RS and Mustang, the Saleen is likely to be bored/stroked if it's a 2.5, so it'll have different internals anyway.
