From what I read on the French FAR forum there are two issues which are a concern when increasing power. Water temperature can go through the roof under continuous track use and the engine goes into safe mode. Running without the engine cover helps. And, as said, the torque capacity of the gearbox is quoted at 320nm. It has been said (speculated?) that the gearbox clutch oil temperature rather than the strength of the gears that is the issue. Higher powered versions are said to be going to use an extra oil radiator. All a bit speculative at the moment and I shall be wary of doing anything until the situation is a bit clearer.

I see the final PE has been built so the factory can start building Pure and Legende models.
I have only seen one other PE out in the wild

+1

That's the first colour combo I've really liked.

A little update from across the chanel:

Waiting time here in France is down from 14 to now about 8 months.
This week Alpine introduced a 2% price increase.

Alpine won the international GT4 cup in Bahrein, with Audi R8 LMS 2nd and BMW M4 3rd

According to lastest serious rumors, we are expecting an S version (AS110 ??) to be unveiled in October. There has been a lot of talks about that for now quite some time, so let's be cautious. A sexy Targa version is also quite high on the wish list here wink

Hope you have fun wink
