Can someone Photoshop remove/modify the rear wing?

All the zero taste Arab and Chinese billionaires have a lot to answer for.

The speed that they're having to throw these toys together means they just haven't got time to consider aesthetics.

There are some absolutely epic details there. Very, very close to greatness.
Just like this then?

I just don't understand their product positioning and placement. I thought the P1 was the ultimate road car. What are they saying now? That all the hybrid stuff in the P1 was useless and did not add to performance vs engine only? SURPRISE!

The P1 was ages ago. Tech moves on.

This is a backwards step though?

I love it, I think it looks incredible.

Back when the MP4 12C was released everyone grumbled about how safe and boring it was, they scrap the smooth lines and produce the 720s and this and now people don't like it because it's not beautiful. neither is the LaFerrari, or the Enzo, but they are fast and get away with it - why not the same with this?

How is faster around ‘nearly every’ track than a P1 a step backwards

Pure futuristic tech wise maybe but this is about going fast. I’m guessing it was styled purely by aerodynamics which is why it looks so fking bad laugh

Quite a coup for McLaren to have retained the services of Stevie Wonder as stylist... .

Massive influence from the Lamborghini Veneno in this cosmetically and the name is a blatant cash grab.

The wing is atrocious

I’m seriously disappointed in them, this seems like a major step back, compare it to the beauty of the F1 and 675LT and you wonder where the hell they are heading

Looks like the exhaust points straight up at the spoiler? Presumably for aero reasons?

I think the idea of the name is a good one - side profile of the roof is reminiscent of the NSX and also it's better than another series of numbers.

There are some truly beautiful details on that car (although I'm not sure about the glass in the doors "so you can the apex"). Unlike others I'm not a fan of the name, I think it's vacuous.

The overall looks are a bloody disaster. Somebody needs a stern talking to.

I'm also thinking that the "version of the familiar 4.0litre V8", is becoming a little weary.

As someone else said, I'm not sure how this fits their product line. The P1 is now very much yestareday's McLaren, Would you now want to spend £1.5m-ish on a low miles pre-owned one? No, me neither.

How can the article quote power to weight based on a dry weight? Without oil, coolant and fuel surely its more like 0bhp/ton?

I thought the new Alipine was a dog but this Senna is just on another level.

500 people just face palmed at the sight of it.

The rest of us propbably haven’t laughed so hard since the famous Batman and Robbin scene in Only Fools and Horses.

Expect the flippers market to be unexpectedly active over this one...
