Still have to be blue for me I think!

Wow. Really? It's red. Great, thanks for that. So it's gonna cost more because it's a colour that's normally a no cost option for everyone else is it? But it's a ltd edition see.....................................

Fools and their money.
Yeah, those damn fools and their ridiculously slow depreciating cars which in time are likely to appreciate in value! Tossers.
But they won't if they're actually used as intended will they surely? I guess if you've enough money to spend on one of these and can afford to just keep it tucked up for 20 years without using it then money isn't really the issue.

I just don't like the p!ss being taken out of all of us with marketing bull.

My mate is consdering buying one to stick in the garage and keep with delivery mileage. Reckons it's a future £100k car....

He is a Ford Fanboi with a Mk1 and Mk2 RS already though so slightly biased.....
It probably will be tbf, just look at whats happening with cars these days price wise, even a 2nd hand Golf R is stupidly expensive. Little bit of hype is all thats needed. These will cost £36k in 5 years time still, because limited edition...

Wow, someone is wearing their ovaries on the outside! Blimey. Edition or not, painting a car red and whacking on £3k doesn't represent great value to the average petrol head, well I don't think so as a non-Ford fan. Not that I'm against the RS and I suspect it's a great thing to drive but like man 'special' versions, I'm not sure it's special enough to warrant that premium.

It's not 3K for the paint job is it!! You've just stood up for someone getting the facts completely wrong by getting the facts completely wrong which makes you a bigger tool than Yipper is in this case! The Edition model is already quoted as 36K on Ford's UK website so please tell me how you are doing your maths? This is set to be exactly the same price as the car it's based on if you bothered to do your homework before coming out with the cleaver comments!

To be perfectly honest, I really don't care. Get as narky as you like over a jazzed up Ford Focus if you like.

I stood up for someone who was being insulted by someone who gets their y-fronts in a twist over someone getting a price wrong on an internet forum. You're welcome to correct incorrect facts, doesn't entitle you to be obnoxious.

What has anyone's intent to purchase got to do with getting blindingly obvious facts wrong??

In another thread he didn't think a classic rare UK Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Manual in very good shape wasn't worth £15k - simply because he can pick up an 11 year old common-as-muck Mercedes automatic for the same money.

Blimey, we got a two pronged attack going on here. Good work guys.

My opinion is my opinion. Based on your comment about a 300ZX, no I wouldn't buy one because I don't want a 25 year old Japanese car when there's many things out there I'd rather have. Obviously AMGs, where you come from are 'common as muck' so you are a lucky guy having V8's all over the show.

You can do a quick search on the usual car shopping avenues and there are plenty of such 11 year old automatic Mercedes driven by people who can barely service them are on for sale.

The 300ZX (and the Focus RS) are/were halo cars that gets people talking, no one really cares about a 2.5 tonne german barge that has been PCP'd and thrashed to death over its 80000 company miles.

Well your'e entitled to your opinion and if those are you halo cars, then so be it. They're not mine as I don't aspire to own either, I respect them and unlike yourself, I respect other people's views on them.

It is a little ironic you take a pop at PCP when let's face it, there'll be a high percentage of RS' on PCP. Also you talk about barely serviced ropey examples, I'm pretty sure there were plenty of 300ZX's at one point going very cheap because they were ropey, uncared for or badly modified. The example shown is a particularly rare example but they've become rare because they're old and there were many cheap tired examples 5+ years ago. As with many cars, it'll be the the immaculate ones that will draw attention.

You can take a pop at German 'barges' but I'll take the 17k CLS63 I own outright over a 300ZX. Feel free to buy that 300ZX if it's your dream car and enjoy it.

Ah, so I see what has happened here. You jumped straight in head first without having the common sense think about it first as you clearly don't rate the manufacturer in general. Defending one of the biggest trolls on the site was obviously just secondary to getting your own opinion across which was rather stupidly done by restating the incorrect fact stated by said troll. I have no problem with being obnoxious to either of you.

I have no problem with Ford, they've made some brilliant cars and ones I have huge respect for so it's not a case of simply slating them.

If the fact was incorrect then I stand corrected. I am far from a troll and generally respectable to people on here so I really don't see the need for your unpleasant attitude. By all means correct me, not entirely sure I see the need for the aggression but if it makes you feel better.
