Ah, ok, cheers for the link - looks more driving impressions rather than raw Datron/VBox type info
I was thinking more of a test with the actual recorded times up to 100 and the in-gear times, plus all the raw data, actual weight, etc etc, the sort of thing that Car&Driver and Autocar ( plus EVO occasionally) do most issues.
I was interested to see if they actually really could break 5.7/5.8 to 60.....and also how it went up to the ton. Quite enjoy reading all the stats although appreciate I'm in a minority

I find this website pretty useful. Gives you all the stats for the car, including in gear times, braking distances, etc., averaged out over all the tests that have been conducted. Also has lap times. Tells you at the bottom which magazines conducted the tests. You can also compare cars too which is good fun for getting through a slow day at work.
They're all European tests I think so speeds are in kph, but otherwise seems to be a decent site.

As others have mentioned, it does seem on paper to be quite a similar prospect to the R53 MINI GP. That was £22k new back in 2006
Looking at the CO2 emissions for it it would seem to have a similar issue to the s/c R53s too
Hence why we don't see many mass produced supercharged cars now

Im not so sure them numbers are right on that website.
Weight is wrong
Max power revs is wrong
Claimed weight is wrong
Power to weight ratio is wrong
Launch year is wrong
And that’s the stuff they say the manufacturer claims!
Yes, without seeing all 7 of those mags it's hard to know test track conditions, how they weighed them etc or whether they just quoted something out a press pack.Weight is wrong

You'd presume some must have tested the cars with timing gear as if they'd have all regurgitated the manufacturer figures 0-62 would be coming in as 5.9 rather than 6.5.
This is so goddam ugly I don't know where to start. Even at 17" the wheels look too small for the car and its a Yaris. How come Renault can design the Zoe, albeit a concept then Toyota bring out this monstrocity, not to mention the new Civic bu Honda.
Looking forward to seeing the new Supra when it finally arrives.

Full test of the Gremlin in Autocar
0-60 in 6.4
0-100 in 15.4
Max of 143
Average 27mpg
£26k
3.5 out of 5 stars
Interesting it’s only 3.5 stars what did it fall down on? 0-60 in 6.4
0-100 in 15.4
Max of 143
Average 27mpg
£26k
3.5 out of 5 stars
Tardy on turn-in and the suspension too firm to cope with bumpy B-roads.
There were no complaints re the engine - I bet if the GT86 had had this 200bhp lump there would have been few complaints - pretty much Cosworth performance even with the handicap of a front wheel drive launch. Says you have to work the box to get the most out of it which I suspect few enthusiasts would have issue with
Autocar was the worst of all the tests I've seen .... most gave it four stars. The low numbers --- this is down to the limited production capability in integrating such substantial modifications on the only three door Yaris production line in the World .... so this is a statement of intent by Toyota to create some very exciting Gazoo racing cars ... this first one based around the Yaris WRC car.
Regarding the BBS forged alloys ... if you want a spare set they are 8000 Euros ... the engine is fettled by Lotus (so the supercharger installation is with their support) ... and the whole car has a five year 100,000 mile warranty.
There is plenty of information on the Toyota site for anybody who is interested ... and what looks like a pre-registered car for sale at Toyota in Edinburgh for anybody who still has the hots for one.

I would love one but at £30k (found at Toyota Nuneaton) with delivery miles I’d be moving towards the Abarth 695 Biposto.
