Can we assume you exceed the 35mg limit and drive?
You exceed the speed limit, you lunatic! Get off the road before you kill somebody.
That's a childish response!

^ You try telling that to the thousands of people who have a tipple and drive every day without crashing or causing carnage. It's about moderation and sensible limits.
There is a sensible limit, it's prescribed in law you stupid dhead. laugh

The effect of any drug is inherently variable from person to person. The concept of a "lightweight" may be derogatory, but it is real. Some people get hammered with less alcohol than others. Such a person could still be a danger while under the legal limit. Likewise, people over the limit may pose no danger. It is completely analogous to speeding.

I have to say, I abhor grassers. There is a grassing culture in this country now, many people seem to revel in it.

I am sure someone will reply with "imagine if that person then killed your child" or somesuch emotional nonsense. I don't like grassers.

Some of the grassers are hypocrites, intent on dobbing in others while turning a blind eye to the criminal and unethical conduct of others.

My view is unless one has good cause to think someone (or their associates) is dangerous, then if one is of a mind to report them to authorities, one should give them a warning first with the explicit guarantee that one will grass them up if they continue doing xyz. That's an approach I don't think anyone can reasonably argue with.

I agree, it's always 'think of the children'. What a weak snivelling society we've become. A punch in the face would be a reality check for some of the people who post on here with their eutopian views. We need a united society not a load of eunuch curtain twitchers.

Interesting thread and views. Searching the web about this story came up that Alistair Stewart was done too... TWICE, and was three times over the limit ! Him from Police, Camera, Action, Death etc... I didn't know he'd been done too.

They must all think they're above the law...

Looks like there should be a ban on drinking and posting.

Agreed, his show of faux masculinity is frankly embarrassing.

A real man shows the restraint to not drink and drive full stop.

Amazed and appalled at some of the posts on here . Some people can drink more than others , but in all cases, why push 'what you can drink without being dangerous' mentality . It just makes people think ' oh, I am fine, I'll have one more' .
If I had an accident, and it was my fault , I would rather think I had no alcohol in my system than think, did that one or two I had cause me to not avoid the crash ?
Drinking and driving is a major problem. With policing being cut back, the chances of getting caught lessens. Speed cameras catch speeders, but they cant tell if a driver is over the limit. Only a policeman can. So, 'dobbing in' is something that on average would be someone worried about others being put at risk by a prat getting behind the wheel. CT lives in a dirt track lane and has no close by neighbours and even has a right of way straight past his house, so he could have walked in 15 mins.
From taking my son to football the other week, there was some hmmmm' supporters' behind us and one ,he was pissed. Bragging about a game in November and of having no recollection of how he drove home after the game . A form of retarded thinking nuckledragger, whom I hope he finds a tree on his way home and does it all single handedly and harms no one else.
