An update re delivery times. Have just ordered one and been quoted 25 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if it was less as I was quoted a lengthy delivery time (20 weeks) for a Golf GTi in 2014, it arrived in 12 weeks. Similar times with a Skoda in 2017.

I've gone for Black 3 door with most options including the sunroof to avoid claustrophobia! It's replacing an old Panda and I really didn't want anything wider. The only other real alternative was the Fiat 500 but we've had a twin air 500C and an Abarth. The Abarth was just too harsh around town and the perceived quality is far higher in the UP.

I think it's great value especially as I went through a broker.

Just get an ex demo in 3-4 months then... I bet by July there will be floods of Up GTI’s on Autotrader.
It's September and the drought appears to be unappeased!

Discount is around 10% at the moment. You won’t be able to order without tinted glass, but a retrofit will be possible if it’s a dealbreaker.
