Which do you prefer? Clean car inside or out?
Discussion
Given the weather here in sunny Cornwall hasn't stopped pissing down for what seems like weeks, my black car is absolutely minging inside and out.
Now personally, I can live with a dirty car on the exterior for a little while, but a dirty interior,?, I personally hate it.
Grit all over the carpets, dirt, dust etc it drives me mad.
We are supposed to have a small window of dryish weather tomorrow mid day for an hour or two, so do I clean the exterior so it looks nice and cared for to look at rather than the dirty black mess it looks like currently, or clean the interior?
No, I don't have a garage unfortunately either, that I can clean the interior in the dry.
So, PH, which do you prefer, a clean interior and live with the dirty exterior, or clean the exterior, and live with the dirty interior for a while?

I tend to prefer clean outside as my job tends to get me quite dusty so a clean interior is fairly impossible for any length of time.
However occasionally I feel sorry for it and give it a real good clean. It also gives me a good opportunity to collect the lost change that falls through the drivers seat.

Clean the interior.
Filthy animal
The exterior will remain clean for about a mile at this time of year.
A light misting of *fabreze, if you so choose, and you will be in heaven.
Yeah, I'm one for a clean interior Red4, personally hate a dirty interior, but I parked the car up at home after work today, glanced back and Jesus, the poor thing looks like nobody owns it. Filthy animal

- or some stuff you can nick from work.
But on the other hand, I know it's going to get dirty again pretty quickly, but a dirty interior, I personally cannot live with.
So, it is clean the interior for me , given the choice of an hour or so free of rain and gale force winds
Quick inside and out at the local Eastern European hand car wash, every week (or once a fortnight if I'm pushed for time).
An exterior wash (as a bare minimum) is essential at this time of year, to get all the grit/salt off.
As for the inside, I can live without an interior clean for a fortnight or so, then feel guilty, so get it done.

My God man. Noooooo. How can you live with yourself ? That's brought me out in a cold sweat just thinking of the swirls in your paintwork.
I'm going for a lie down.

Not far from you in Devon and I was thinking the same today, it seems to have been raining down here since the end of September. I've given up cleaning the daily driver and my other two are confined to the garage. Inside always. if the inside is clean, then everything is right in the world.
I cannot stand messy cabins. My car is 13yrs old, but is so clean, you could mistake it for a new car bought a week ago.
And by inside I also mean inside the engine bay, crevices between the bonnet shuts, boot...
