Always think the A5 is a car for people who aren't really that into cars, but want something to show off in a bit. Pretty horrid.
Actually, I bought my S5 for the exact opposite of the reasons you suggest.I'm very much 'into cars' but wanted something that was a subtle Q car that could basically just do the daily commute without requiring much effort. You can't be a Driving God in rush hour traffic, so why bother trying to be?
Contrast that with the CGTS and it's heavy clutch and shouty exhaust and the S5 is the exact opposite of 'show off'.

I was waiting for the small wheel brigade to wake up, why would a tuner put small wheels on it...

You could also just go for drive in it, I imagine it would be a good car for a continental road trip. Cars can also be used for A to A as well as A to B.
Just a guess, but with sidewalls that thin, I would guess comfort isn't its forte. When you say continental road trip, I'd guess it depends what you really mean by that. If its performance related, yeah, maybe. If its touring, I'd be a little surprised if it was as comfortable as a regular Audi, purely down to the tyres alone. Added to that, I'd expect some kind of harder suspension setup, which would make it less comfortable still on a day to day basis.big_rob_sydney said:

I mean if I owned one I wouldn't use it to just go to the shops. Where did it all go wrong for Audi? First we had the UR Quattro and elegant Coupe, then the desirable RS2 designed by Porsche. The first RS4 was also special and I still love these cars and the brand as it was at this time.
Now they make terrible st bought by people with no taste. This is the pinnacle of said crap. Such a shame.

Adjustable height *springs*? How do they work?
KW has had a kit out for some time now called HAS, Height Adjustable Springs. Basically it is a spring perch and threaded collar that fits over the OEM damper which now allows for adjustable ride height just like a coilover but at a lower cost as you are only buying the perch, collar and spring and not the damper.Regards
