My Chimaera is a keeper - bought for peanuts on Christmas day 10 years ago, fully refurbished since then - carpets, hood, chassis, brakes, paint job, headlamp conversion, engine tweaks, wheels etc.

Granted it's a bit "Triggers Broom", but it owes me nothing, and costs under a grand a year to tax, insure and service.

My LS430 is staying until it breaks catastrophically or rusts away. Currently on just shy of 130k Converted it to LPG 2 years ago so costs buttons to run. Doesn't really go wrong and can't think what I would replace it with.

I would keep our Hymer forever too but i think rust will get the better of it one day however it has sentimental value as my dad gave it to me.

Clio V6]

A small fortune spent so far to get it exactly how I want it with a few more things in the pipeline.

Retired now (early I hasten to add biggrin) and wanted something I could retire disgracefully with, this fits the bill perfectly.
I haven't changed my desktop wallpaper in 2 years, now it's been changed. That is absolutely stunning. I'd love to have a Clio V6 alongside my 182 one day.

If the owner will part with it, I'll never sell it. Pre facelift 405 1.9 SRi, love them. Tried to buy it a year ago but I was too late, found the new owner and talking to him about buying it.

My Monaro I guess. Spent way more on it than was wise which means I can only ever sell it for way more than anyone would give me for it.

If you sell that car I will put money on the fact that you would never get over it....the loss will be too much to bear.....

My VX220.

Had it 14 years this year.

Said within 2 weeks of buying that i would never sell and that still holds true.

Lots and lots of memories, loads of trackdays, a few european trips and still going strong..

Were they the ones that had the MI16 kit on?

My Sapphire, I always wanted one as a kid, from being a poster on my bedroom wall and my dad having one from his work at the time and scaring the bejesus out of my silding around on the back seat!

Told myself it would never be due to value of them then a friend of my brothers was selling this seven years ago now and she's going nowhere. Ever.
That is just fantastic.

First owner had the car for 15 years. I’ve owned it for the last 6 years.

One of the two kids is going to need to decide what to do with it after I’m gone,

Can't see me getting rid of my S1. Upgrades and refreshes but never sell it... not sure what I would replace it with! Keeper until I can't bend enough to get in it.

Same here - my refreshed and upgraded S1 is a stunning thing. I can think of a more fun and focused useable car for remotely similar money.

Awesome!! But you can't possibly life anywhere in Europe, and certainly not the UK with that backdrop.

So? It looks like Bonneville salt flats to me. Could be a Canary Island with that backdrop, but it's almost certainly Bonneville.
