Have you got a car you'll never part with?

My Chimaera is a keeper - bought for peanuts on Christmas day 10 years ago, fully refurbished since then - carpets, hood, chassis, brakes, paint job, headlamp conversion, engine tweaks, wheels etc.
Granted it's a bit "Triggers Broom", but it owes me nothing, and costs under a grand a year to tax, insure and service.

My LS430 is staying until it breaks catastrophically or rusts away. Currently on just shy of 130k Converted it to LPG 2 years ago so costs buttons to run. Doesn't really go wrong and can't think what I would replace it with.
I would keep our Hymer forever too but i think rust will get the better of it one day however it has sentimental value as my dad gave it to me.

Clio V6]
A small fortune spent so far to get it exactly how I want it with a few more things in the pipeline.
Retired now (early I hasten to add ) and wanted something I could retire disgracefully with, this fits the bill perfectly.
I haven't changed my desktop wallpaper in 2 years, now it's been changed. That is absolutely stunning. I'd love to have a Clio V6 alongside my 182 one day.Clio V6]

My Sapphire, I always wanted one as a kid, from being a poster on my bedroom wall and my dad having one from his work at the time and scaring the bejesus out of my silding around on the back seat!
Told myself it would never be due to value of them then a friend of my brothers was selling this seven years ago now and she's going nowhere. Ever.
That is just fantastic. Told myself it would never be due to value of them then a friend of my brothers was selling this seven years ago now and she's going nowhere. Ever.

Can't see me getting rid of my S1. Upgrades and refreshes but never sell it... not sure what I would replace it with! Keeper until I can't bend enough to get in it.
Same here - my refreshed and upgraded S1 is a stunning thing. I can think of a more fun and focused useable car for remotely similar money. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
