98 Camaro.

Had it 13 years, owes me way more than its worth in mods/fixes, is such a loveable old thing that puts a smile on my face when I look at it and drive it, gets admiring glances and to everyone that knows me it will always be “my car” and part of me, like a hat I always wear.

Over the years my daily drivers have been better in probably every concievable way, yet it will always be with me, opening the garage on a Saturday morning and firing it up just shouts "weekend" to me.

I'll have others, better and often that will fill the same niche but I love the thing and I’ll be buried in it most likely.

I have a 2006 RenaultSport Megane 225. It's not 'the' model to have being a normal 225 without the Cup chassis but I ordered it from a broker so spec'd it with factory Xenons and climate control.

I got it when I was 23 (hence the dodgy symbol on the reg plate), it's covered about 3,250 miles and currently sits under a cover in the garage. I bought it at a time just after my dad had died, it was the only thing that perked me up and gave me something to look forward to. Hence I won't be selling it.

Very nice, guessing the plate was from a previous car?

I never wanted to sell any of my Porsches but financial meltdown meant I had to. You can never say never. It's a killer when it happens.

Yes. My Fiesta ST. Bought it after my Great Uncle had left me some money, and as I was starting a new job and had been driving around in a horrible Corsa C for a couple of years, I decided I could afford it. Not really worth anything now to anyone else, but it's mint condition and I enjoy driving it. More fun to drive than my daily driver 62 plate focus st round corners for sure!

Eta; no idea how to change the orientation on This!

I like that, a lot. Also a very compelling reason for it to be a keeper. Can you elaborate on why the mileage is ultra low, unless a typo and it's (say) 32,500?

Yes. I’ve only owned it for 8 hours but I’ve gone through three tanks already. This thing will bankrupt me...C63 AMG estate - 2011 model. Holy st that engine is stunning.

Unfortunately the lab now looks like a pug and isn’t keen to get back in... strange dog.

Bought my VXR8 new in 2014 with a view to keeping it forever. It is the last of its kind and still brings a smile to my face every time I drive it even after 50k miles. Still want to get more power out of it though smile

Been meaning to sell my Ferrari 328 (bought 19 years ago) on & off for most of the last 10 years.

Never seem to get around to it so on that basis its probably staying for another 10 anyway! smile

Needs a bit more driving though !

Bought this nearly 13 years ago and 19k miles means it will probably stay in the garage.

There'd be no point selling by this point anyway, not with the depreciation hit.

Had mine about 3 years now, it's a bit of a garage queen but I don't really know what else I'd want. I think it may be staying for a while.
I normally get bored about 18 months in then have something else at the 2 year mark, not really been an issue with this one.

I can't work out what you mean by this? That the car is worthless now?

I have two, a rust free mk1 Eunos s-ltd and a lovely Smart Brabus roadster. Unfortunately, much as i'd like, I can't justify keeping both anymore so I've given myself another summer to decide which one goes.
