Good grief that's pretty.
Agreed, but it would be nice to see a picture of it with the roof up in at least one image.

Still, I suppose we did get a helpful photo of a headrest though...
Here you go:

In my opinion, a staggering piece of design in that it's a thing of beauty with the roof up or down, a feat that a vanishingly small number of cars have ever achieved. And it seems a far more cohesive design than the coupe. One of these would be high up the "lottery win" shopping list.

Completely agree, looks fab.

Can't help thinking that this may actually be the car that the Jag F-Type would like to be when it grows up.

One question though, are the smoked/clear rear lights on V8 version an option or standard? As most of the V8 DB11 coupes seem to have them but the above Volante doesn't?
Was playing about with the configurator over the weekend and you can choose, but smoked is default. I generally prefer the red lights personally, depends on exterior colour.

Styling wise its a step backwards from the Vanquish of 5 years ago which is disappointing IMO

I'm fully aware the Vanquish sits above the DB cars...
Absolutely with you on this. The Vanquish was a simply stunning thing. The best looking Aston by some margin in my view. I still find elements of the DB11 a bit awkward by comparison, like they were doing things to desperately try and make it different or more modern. They'd pretty much designed the perfectly styled GT car, so they were doomed from the start with this really!

That looks very tasteful. Understated elegance, good work Aston.

These are very colour sensitive. Good to see matt p doing the review, always a quality piece
. I would have a 911 targa rather than this.

Very nice but I prefer the design of the Portofino - are they direct competitors?

It looks worse than it's predecessor from every angle.

It's not really a rival to the targa though, it's for the cabriolet.

HardMiles is so right with the greenhouse/bathtub analogy! I have very fast F30 and it’s nowhere near the fun of BMWs 20 years ago - however competent!
