RE: Lotus 3-Eleven 430 released
Discussion
I'm the proud owner of a "standard" 3-Eleven and can't get enough of it! I use it for dry weekends in non-winter months and track days. I've been lucky enough to have owned some crazy things in the past but this is the most fun I've had (in a car) hands down. I won't be trading up for the 430 version, however, since the standard version is enough more than enough for me, although I could be tempted by the Komo-tec 475bhp upgrade...

Fantastic but please someone correct me if I'm wrong, it's still a track day car that you can't drive on the majority of track days (105 db limit) due to the titanium exhaust fitted.
Should you want one, set aside £102,000, or £20k more than the regular 3-Eleven retailed at. Add the titanium exhaust, two-way adjustable Ohlins dampers etc etc

The exhaust on the standard car also struggles on track days below 105db so that's why I'm currently considering Hangar 111's QT signature exhaust - it makes a completely different sound (muffled jet) which isn't as appealing, to these ears at least, but you won't be sweating every time you get close to the noise meters and it should allow plenty of additional (plus more affordable) track day options. etc etc

Best colour scheme I have seen on one of these. Very Nice. I had a Fisher fury in similar colour scheme with an aero screen, and ended up getting rid as the 1 - 2 hour drive to & from the nearest Circuit was a ball ache, and I wasnt committed enough to use frequently on the road. Perhaps if you trailer it to the track it is a better proposition.

Please, please, change the interiors on Lotuses. They look hideous and dated and are deterring buyers.
Loti Yipper, it's LotiHowever, Lotus have issued a few press releases over the years stating that the plural of Lotus is Lotus.
"Loti" is the kind of thing that people with no personality and annoying nasal-sounding voices say.

Nope. It's not Loti. The normal rule for creating the plural of nouns ending in 's' is to add 'es'. Hence, Lotuses.
However, Lotus have issued a few press releases over the years stating that the plural of Lotus is Lotus.

After a good drive there is nothing better than stopping in at a café, Lotus bobble hat on, talking about our cars over a packet of halls soothers. However, Lotus have issued a few press releases over the years stating that the plural of Lotus is Lotus.

Why, so you can rush out and drop £110k on a road-legal track toy? I'm sure Lotus will have one 3-11 430 left over that they just can't sell, and think to themselves, "Damn, if only we'd changed the interior, Yipper would have bought this and we'd have sold them all. Instead, we'll just have to go bust." Do you ever open a new thread and think, "Maybe I won't have a stupid opinion on this subject?"
