The wife is after a new car...a couple of years or so old and no bigger than a Fiesta.

The only stipulation is that it has a inbuilt GPS display, the bigger the better,

I've been looking around but am struggling. Any suggestions?

Yes, teach her to read a map, silly (insert phrase here) ffs. You're spoiling her. I bet she can navigate around the mall without a sat nav :-)

Toyota Aygo/Citroen C1/ Peugeot 108

Or, original mini with a tablet mount... should nicely block out the outside world entirely wink

Assuming Boosted LS1's suggestion of learning to read a map will go down like a cold bucket of sick, have a look at the Vauxhall Adam, and the BMW MINI. If you go for high-specification versions, both have generous screens for the size of the vehicle.

For truly massive screens, you'll either need a large executive car, or something from the Tesla stable. However, much as I am sure you love your wife, I expect you don't really want to spend that much. hehe

I know I didn't check that one of those was a Sync2 car.

Even the sync2s have a small screen tbh, dunno what they thought they were doing when they designed the focus/fiesta screens like that

I think it suits the overall design, why do you need a bigger screen? It was pretty to operate the ICE and see the sat nav through.

Was thinking there again about the MINI - a lot of cars with Media XL will also have had HUD fitted. May be a useful feature for the O/P?
