The BMW 1-series is currently built as both, albeit not in the same body-style. The (Chinese market) saloon is FWD, the (rest of the world) hatch is RWD
Not just bodystyle - the entire platform. The Chinese 1 series is based on the 2 series FWD boxy MPV that the rest of the world has, which shares a platform with the MINI.r11co said:

Triumph 1500 was available with both.
No, they were all longitudinal, both FWD and RWD.BuzzBravado said:
I thought all Subaru's were 4WD even the basic ones. I cant think of any Subaru that wasn't 4WD.
Even some cooking Imprezas were FWD.https://www.parkers.co.uk/subaru/impreza/saloon-19...

Would it be pedantic to suggest that the Triumph 1300, 1500 and Toledo were FWD longitudinal whilst it was the (different) facelifted Triumph Dolomite that was RWD?
Far more complicated than that, but it's all the same basic car/shell.The FWD 1500 had the same nose and tail as the RWD Dolomite, as did the RWD 1500TC...
The RWD Toledo had the same tail as the FWD 1300, but with different lights in the 1500/Dolomite nose - then the RWD Dolomite 1300 used the Toledo lights with the Dolomite tail.
