Remade as a 500;

I recall a friend had a 50cc version back in the late '70s and with a few period mods (bigger carb) it went better than most other 'peds.

Be interesting to see how the new one does, more info here; http://www.fanticmotoruk.com/new/bike/5364/caballe...

Feck that, gimme an upgraded Fantic Chopper,
these were the only ones that brand was ever noted for in my moped days.

Yeah but...

42hp and Chinese Motor ruins the appeal for me.

The original Ped version was the stuff of dreams when I was a kid. Whilst most of us slummed it on Fizzies and AP50's the rich kids had a Caballero.

They looked so much cooler and went just that little bit faster.

Me too, liked the idea of the 250 E Casa for Road Trials but the ideal of Chinese reliability & having to de-emissions it for clean low speed running put me off the idea too.

Agree, it does look nice though, shame they can't build them with a 660 Yam motor.

Looks good, how much will it be?

I saw one of them Mash café racers last week, looked really quite smart in it's metallic red paint, and had an ace riding position. At c£4700 on the road, you'd think they'd be selling loads.
