Okay I am probably going to fall on my sword and this may be the worst karma thread ever.

I have a 2007 ML and yes I love it.

I don't even know why I love it so much? I have an irrational love of the runt of the litter and every time I have a few cars I always fall in love with the shed.

Does anyone else love the runt of their litter?

Love cr*p cars and vans, but can't face the social stigma of being seen in one.

shoot I think you win this thread just for that! I've always appreciated cars like the C3 for at least attempting not to be bland, like the Juke.

I remain mightily impressed with my cheap as chips auction bought X Type 3.0 which is yet to eat its transfer box, spew its made of cheese automatic transmission, orleave me sitting on the road due to a rotting floor and sills.
In fact, tempting fate, it isn’t giving any hints at all that it may at any time soon drop a b*llock.

Someone parked a Rodius AWD on my road this morning and I didn't really care.

My 'hot' hatch, the 2003 Focus ST170 5 door. Overpriced when new, underpriced now IMO. Absolutely amazing handling, dream steering, sounds good low down where there's no power, sounds crap high up where all the power and torque is.

I’ve got a current M4. Apparently it’s not a proper M car, as it's got a turbo. In 5years the same people will be raving on about it, whilst slating the then current M4. Rinse and repeat ad infinitum

I don't think PH says this is crap?

Now the car I drive is crap... 1.25 fiesta mk6. Very slow, too heavy and thus it's thirsty for the size of car

Yep, I had one of those too and exactly the same thing happened hehe That wasn’t a true M car, as it was a V8, not a straight six. It’s now the best ever M car apparently.

They really do biggrin All you have to do is read the ST170 SOTW threads. To be fair, the 1.25 is a cracking engine.

My car has doors that dont fit properly, many shades of blue, rust, holes, noisy, slow, not great on fuel atm, terrible on motorways, headlights are awful, bonnet is dented and rusty, chrome is pitted, rack gaiters need doing, steering wheel squeaks, bushes might be on their way out. Not really PH.

I love it.

I still maintain that my old X-Type was the best daily I've ever had.

It was a low miles, 2006 3.0 Sovereign (manual). No sill rust, no problems with the transfer box. In fact no problems at all.

Nice rear biased handling, engine made a good noise, and it was loaded with kit (which all worked biggrin) The voice command and heated screen were really excellent. Parts were cheap as chips and it was easy to work on. And with decent quality all season tyres, it got me through some pretty rough winters. I could do with it for the next week, looking at the forecast! yikes

At least Chris Harris has gone now - His series of Tell me I'm wrong, where he savaged the cars some of us love and at least hope won't fall in value. I never found that particularly endearing whilst watching him talk up and then flip high value super cars for his own piggy bank.

I've got a 2000 fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth.
I love it. 60mpg, cheap as chips run, expensive to insure but a so much fun and it's yellow!

I am aware I'll be killed if someone so much as reverses into it though.
