It says Kent, so I assumed it is currently buried under 27feet of snow (well if you believe the media)
Ha, not far off - it hasn't moved since Monday. I was surprised to see it featured, but happy to have such a nice write up and positive comments. It is my second MK3 MX5 (the first was standard bar Advan AD08 tyres). The first served me for 6 months as an inexpensive daily / track day car, but as standard they don't really have enough grunt, and the suspension does not cope well with sticky tyres, generating Citroes 2CV levels of roll, Hence why I chose the Super 200 and added the Ohlins. Setup this way it is plenty quick enough, and sounds nice and barky whilst also being very discrete.

I quite fancy this exhaust for mine but concerned it might be too loud for the track!
I have this exhaust, you can hear it at Combe smile assuming I have no more mechanical gremlins and get a chance to fit it, and of course it is not too loud to run, current exhaust (Cobra) is only 86db can't imagine this will go over 100.

I do quite like the idea of a BBR MX5, any owners on here mind sharing their insurance experiences?

I currently have an 04 S2000 (insurance is £340 a year) and quite fancy moving onto an MX5-RF at some point but would prefer to keep some poke while having a little more comfort.
I have a similar spec though not from BBR but Skuzzle with the addition of an LSD/FD upgrade and pay £240 parked on the street in Bristol.

It's a lot of work to insure so you have to put the effort in, by effort I am only talking a couple of hours on the phone if the renewal is not to your liking, not that hard really but I don't like talking to people rather do it online biggrin
