And sat at a max of 3mph in some posh London Street, the only one of those things that matters is the first point "charming to look at"!Like i said, you could turn up at Buckingham Palace in the old car and probably get a "nice car" for Her Royal Highness" turn up in the new 3 door and you'd be sent to the "footballers" back entrance....... ;-)

Yes, she'd never been seen anywhere near an SVO Range Rover on big wheels......Like i said, you could turn up at Buckingham Palace in the old car and probably get a "nice car" for Her Royal Highness" turn up in the new 3 door and you'd be sent to the "footballers" back entrance....... ;-)

Bravo Sir
Actually a better result than I feared, but that price!! RR Wraith territory or even better a lightly used RR Phantom Coupe.
And please stop using 'Gaydon' in any articles relating to JLR or AM for that matter. Land Rover's roots are to be found in Solihull not Gaydon, as alluded above Aston Martin are also there and finally, it is a village not a car company.

Price is insane. You can get an Audi SQ7, with similar performance, and dominate the PH director car parking space at work, for ~£70k. And have ~£170k left to buy a boat, Lambo, Fezza, whatevs.
What people fail to realise though is the actual wealth of those who buy cars of this value - they want what they consider to be the best. It’s like you or I buying half a pound of sausages from the butchers and then others vividly expressing that they are x3 the price of Tesco Basics sausages and that you’re wasting your money.
Monetarily they are not wrong, but you’d still just have the sausages you want because you can and because you won’t really notice the cost difference enough to care.

I like this. Which is odd, as I don't like the people likely to buy it. You know, footballers, their wives and snooty old retired duffers (you know the type) who won't need the rear doors (or seats).
Then there's KAHN(!) drafting a hideous body kit that will inevitably go with it at an even more hideous price.
I suppose I like it because it mirrors the choice of the S-Class saloon and the coupe. A strange reason, but I'm sticking with it.
Also agree the wheelbase appears a bit too long !

It will all go the super rich and be kept at one of their houses. They will own many cars, boats etc.
Regardless of whether they need it the 4 wheel drive is essential because they is the point in a Range Rover. Having said that I can imagine these in the paddocks at race courses, the expensive shoots and in the dessert carrying falcons.
For that market they've probably priced it about right. There will be many extras fitted to these cars on top of this price too...
