Reason for the link ‘the powerful 118D. Comedy gold.

Over 140 there are examples of permanent confiscation. If it were me I’d risk running for it

How can it be legal? Because it is the actual law over there perhaps? Im not entirely familiar with the threshold value for this to come into effect, but something tells me TS wasnt doing a mere 10 over the limit.

And one would assume that making the car you break the law in, not your property will not fix this, any lease agreement will hold you responsible for losing possession of the vehicle.

If you want to speed, hit up the german autobahn or go to a track, breaking laws abroad is stupid anyway
Thing is with a finance agreement in place they couldn't then take something which doesnt belong to you, much like bailiff's can't cease cars subject to finance over here
You seem to be forgetting (again) that we are not talking about english law, If Le Flicks pull you above the threshold that allows them to take your car. I don't think Mr Plod is going to worry about you waving finance papers in his face he will just let the court sort it out while you are on shank's pony back to the channel ports.

Best car for the job. It’ll sit at a good speed all day long and should you get it confiscated you’re not going to care at all and practically feel they’re doing you a favour.
