Have to wonder what was caused all that to kick off in the first clip
There were kids exiting that car as the van was intentionally ramming it, I don't know what you call that but it's pretty serious!

Sure i read that it was a man and a woman in the Bmw tried to rob the van at knifepoint injured the driver and the passenger of the van jumped in drivers seat and rammed the bmw.

The moron in the Civic at 6:25 had his mirrors folded in (which explains the piss-poor driving). That's one of my pet hates!

Makes a change, it's normally a Honda Jazz if you see a car driving along with folded mirrors, I saw 3 different ones in a week once.

Well that certainly puts a new slant on things. Would have been nice if the last clip was a bit longer, not sure if that was just terrible driving, a really crap crash for cash attempt, or a disagreement between rival "businessmen".

Why was someone from the van arrested? They need a medal for stopping the scum evade justice!

at 0:28-0:29 you see him swap to the brake. His foot then goes from lit up to in shadow as he presses the brake. It locks up, *bang*
He braked because of the yellow flag. In his other vid, he explains that the marshall with the flag is too close to the corner so when you see the flag you are having to brake as you are turning in and its easy to unsettle the car
Yes, which caused him to crash. My previous comment mentions the marshall
Schwedenkreuz is one of the trickiest curves at the ring. It’s full throttle with a slight turn at the top of the crest, which unsettles the car pretty easily. You see a lot of accidents there even without marshalls. In his case, I would assume the stars aligned with a late flag on a tricky curve with a car with then engine “in the wrong place”

Maybe so they could find out what had happened. Sadly they would not have had access to an online news article to let them know.

This. The police have increased investigative powers if a driver is arrested, plus the person arrested gets a free lawyer.

Over the summer, there was a fatal collision right near me, motorbike vs landrover. The local rag had an article up the following day on the website, complete with huge skidmarks on the road, landrover driver had been arrested. Comments made for painful reading, 'look at those skidmarks, the land rover driver must have been driving like a complete bellend', and 'wouldn't be arrested if e was innocent'. That sort of thing.

In fact, the skid marks were put down later that night, I could hear engines revving, and cars skidding as the accident investigation team did their investigations. The driver was arrested to conduct a swift and in depth investigation, plus it enabled the police to seize the vehicle for forensic examination.

Bike and landy were travelling in the same direction, bike doing 120+, landy doing 40 - bike hit back of landy in a botched overtake, biker died at scene.

It was enlightening to see first hand the disparity between the facts surrounding an incident, and the way people perceived the small amount of information presented in the media. Naturally, the local busybody was emailing highways before they'd removed the deceased about speeding, demanding the limit is dropped to 30 and so on, using a previous "speeding fatality" case to argue his point. I became quite the local pariah when I pointed out the previous case, that resulted in a stretch of wide, fast road being dropped to 40 was ruled a suicide (kid with fatal levels of citalopram drove headlong in to a lorry) and lowering limits was not only not the answer, in this case it was counter productive.

I may appear here shortly, courtesy of a couple of charmers yesterday - you know the sort of thing in an unfamiliar town (Rugby), wrong lane at red lights in thick traffic, wanting to turn left, indicating left, turning round to make sure I had eye contact with Peugeot for whom it would have been, what, a 2-second delay to extend the courtesy.

Nope, horn behind sounds his horn, woman in Pug must be first, despite me being in front of her, and having been indicating for some while whilst stationary, and having made eye contact. Totally, totally avoidable with the merest smidgeon of courtesy from either, but no, that's not the modern way, is it.

Still, a going-on 14 yo Volvo does help in these scenarios, I found out...

All a bit sad, really frown

I'm curious
What was the problem?

If you were turning left you must have been in the left lane

Or am I missing something?
