Can't see the point of sounding the horn. Just drive around the obstruction.

Never you mind

Most of these clips are just minor in-convinces rather than "CRASH - NEAR MISSES"

Because there's a teeny, tiny chance that it might filter into that knobber's brain that he inconvenienced someone else. Slim, I know, but how else will they learn?

Or because said idiot just caused one situation, what's to stop them causing another when your passing them (like changing lanes without looking)?

If you're this irritated by a minor inconvenience, I'd wonder how you would cope with an actual annoyance, other than immediately having a coronary.
The DCW in the second clip really needs to have a talk to himself

Vigilante chases suspected moped thieves. Skip to 5:15 to miss out the self indulgent crap about the flat tyre.

Stupid to take those sort of risks, he was very lucky that did not go very wrong for him. Seems to be a good turn out from the police, at least they're trying.

Just totting up on that UK Dash Cams video - on each clip I've given a point for actual bad driving from the "subject", and a point if the cammer made it worse by being a knob.

29 points for bad "subject" driving, 12 points for knob cammers!

Two clips stand out there as really frightening - https://youtu.be/PjeI-XuHbqA?t=437 and https://youtu.be/PjeI-XuHbqA?t=565

Awful.
What also stood out about the second clip is the use of the horn. Grabbing for the horn would be the last thing on my mind faced with that.

In a situation like that you don't have time to think though, probably hit the horn out of pure instinct. I really do wonder what goes through the mind of people like the Mondeo driver. Do they get home and think "I was a second away from being killed or seriously injured there, I'll be more careful the next time I overtake", or just convince themselves it wasn't their fault and continue driving like a knob?

The horn didn't kick in until after the dashcam beeped to register hard braking. I suspect it may have been one of those moments where the driver braces hard against the steering wheel at the same time as braking and either catches the horn at the same time, or out of reflex.

Either way, he was definitely braking hard before hitting the horn.

Part of me wondered if it was a parody of a typical DCW

He has a way with words.

Guy at 2.13 moans at a car crossing the solid white line early joining a motorway, then he does the same thing crossing TWO solid lines.

This is what I don't understand about most of these DCWs. The car was obviously in the wrong lane, made a mistake, signalled in plenty of time, so why not just back off slightly and let it get ahead so you can take the exit without looking like a prize bell end?

Fury Road is one of the best channels on Youtube biggrin

Maybe should have a clear warning on that particular clip that someone gets a bit battered though.
