Whilst the C-Max driver shouldn't have stopped to let the other car out, the fault lies with the driver of the camera car who showed absolutely no awareness. A competent driver would have easily stopped in time.

I didnt understand that one. it was pretty obvious the car had stopped yet the DCW must have been asleep

Yep, the DCW was clearly in the normal driving zone and did not expect, not surprisingly, some idiot to randomly stop and change the rules of the road on a whim. of course, technically his fault but the CMAX idiot just shouldn't have stopped.

Does this “normal driving zone” include not looking in front of you? If so I hope I’m never in it.

Rubbish, very good, reckless ?

Thoughts on "does this encourage" bad driving/aggressive show-off DashCamRacing ?
Should these be censored and removed from the web ?

The traffic is moving very slowly ahead, it's not even up for debte that the C-Max did the correct thing by not blocking a junction.

There was a gap of 4 seconds between the brake lights and the impact, in a 30 zone with heavy traffic and a school has clearly just kicked out. All the signs are there that attention is required.

I'm amazed I have to explain this to an "enthusiast".

Excellent fast road driving, IMO. Could have even done more 'off-siding' for better visibility, given the the sparse traffic.

Could well be Route Napoleon or Massif Central, two favourites of mine.

I love this statistic about the Xantia and I hope it keeps the record! Are there any videos of it doing the test?

5:13 - out of curiosity what are you supposed to do if you bump someone at slow speed in a queue? It's happened to me twice recently (in Birmingham) from behind. Both times the offending car has just roared off with no opportunity for me to gather the plate number and all I can do is stop when it's safe to do so (which can be a way off when you are on a red route with no stopping allowed for any reason) and check for damage. Fortunately both times has just been a bit of a scratch on my rear bumper. Maybe I need to get one of these newfangled dash camera thingies.

Not sure if it's already been posted but latest WelshDrive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2urXoFMpqEE

The clip at 3:50 I'm pretty sure the red car pulled into L2 because they could see the DCW in L1. Not to excuse them pulling out at all but I doubt the late lane changed near a junction helped his case.

Clip straight after that, why people have to merge at the 800 yards sign I will never understand. Drive to the end, then merge, it's not hard.

The classic following the road markings to turn right at (before) the roundabout
many authorities have replaced those right arrows with straight on ones
