6:10 what a terrible junction! Road rises over a crest and then suddenly you find yourself straight through a give-way junction colliding with other vehicles. No road side signage on the approach nor at the junction itself. WTF!
Agreed. You can see exactly how he didn't clock it. Signage needed indeed.

Some of that is not too bad, just regular mistakes around road positioning or navigation which happen all the time.

And sometimes its hard to know if the terrible driving is the person being filmed, or the one doing the filming!

The clip at 6:15 where the guy doesnt see the give way. Am I being blind or is there no signage at all?

Very poor layout indeed and needs new signage, pronto!

I couldn't see it either, Google earth seems to confirm it. There is a Road sign just before the brow of the hill which would give an indication but it definitely would benefit from a give way sign.

Someone posted a link to the street view in the video comments and yes there is a road sign but clicking forward to go towards the junction I would never have guessed it was a give way and just assumed the road swept right. Surprised the wall opposite the junction is even there as I can imagine loads of people get caught out if they’re not locals.

What a tit! Hogs the outside lane at 54mph for fking ages to deliberately antagonise, then chases down the van driver at 90mph. When she provokes a reaction apparently it's because he's sexist and likes bullying women.

Yep. The footage of the BMW is the correct way to deal with those issues. Find an empty lane, press foot down, carry on with your day and forget about it. All the brake checking nonsense you see in these sort of situations is unnecessary and provokes road rage which - as we often see in various YT videos - often results in either you and/or your car getting shoved in depending on how mental the other party is.

There is a clue, of sorts, the two signs that advise the road to left and right is the A689 i.e. you're emerging on to it rather than continuing - still a bad junction though.

Amen to that, no good ever comes of getting into a pissing competition.

Yep, at least 50% of these videos could be dealt with by the 'offended party' just letting things go and getting on with their day.

I guess I've become one of those people that posts dashcam footage online, watching it back it looks a lot less dramatic than it felt. I feel I need two things now, a clean pair of trousers and a better dashcam...

How can I go about avoiding similar situations in future? I don't think I was approaching that corner too fast..

Whilst driving to work the other day, this Audi driver (VN09 SJV) decided a solid single white line means you can overtake (taken in a 50 zone) - also leading to a blind crest where a car was just about to pop over.

You managed to stop in time and the issue was caused by the tt not coming to a stop and doing a proper check.

Not really a lot else you could do there apart from maybe positioning yourself as far left as possible so you become visible to oncoming traffic sooner and also giving you a little more visibilty.

Not preaching but you could see the road going off left and that the road you were on went to the right so any traffic turning across your path would be relatively unsighted hence I would have slowed a bit more than you did, but at the end of the day nothing happened so let’s not worry about it. Thing with driving is you never stop learning from experience on the road. Anyone who thinks they are a perfect driver is a liability frankly.

Looks like the Audi missed the oncoming car by only a few inches eek

It was close, or there was room as he was 'making progress', but ultimately the oncoming car probably had a bit of a surprise!
