Those drivers failing to overtake the tractor should have their licences removed immediately.
The same kind of drivers that sit on the opposite side of a road signalling to turn (their) right and you signal them way from a figurative mile away so that they can complete their move but instead they choose to sit there until you reach them..... Just why are people so bone idle/hesitant?breadvan said:

With upmost respect to a fellow PHer, that might be the silliest thing I’ve ever read on here.
I'm not feeling disrespected. I was just trying to make sense of it. I've played it more than once. The headlamps from the motorcycle appear quite a bit before the bend tightens. They had visibility through the corner.Do you think the motorcyclist was just going too fast for the bend?

I would have pulled forwards onto the muddy layby in front, unless she was blocking the road to protect the biker... Looks like she went in front to phone

Unsurprising on that section. Everyone just sits in a huge 50mph lemming train in the outside lane from Ferrybridge to the M18 with no-one ever moving over.Lemming Train said:

This one's of an idiotic dash-cam driver.
He ignores the merge-in-turn rule by trying to barge in front of a lorry that is positioned ahead of him. The lorry driver has already done his bit by letting the silver Peugeot estate in. Despite this, the dash-cam driver wants to get in front of the lorry too. When he doesn't get his way, he drives down the wrong side of the road beeping his horn.

And he knows it because he’s disabled comments so people can’t explain why he is one

Looked like a pretty good overtake to me, decent visibility and loads of gaps to pull into if needed.
absolutely nothing wrong with that, surprised that the car directly behind the tractor hadn't overtook it considering how much time, space and visibility it had https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7402945/S...

I am not sure how that overtake could have been safer.
Reasons for needing to move left, sure not many - ninja motorcyclist taking advantage of the straight downhill, and several T junction farm track entrances on the right, so a risk someone coming out turning left just looks right.
And interestingly the dash cam doesn't show the speed they were travelling at the end of the overtake - I strongly doubt it was under 60mph speed limit - yes perfectly safe, blah, blah, blah, but there was a speed camera warning sign they passed so likely the other drivers didn't want to risk it if they didn't know the road as it is damned obvious place to put one.
So yes they did manage the overtake, but certainly at times putting other drivers and risk and by (likely) breaking the law which the other drivers didn't want to.

Early on they appeared to be anticipating the possibility they might need to pull back into the left hand lane, but gave up that pretence or the option of being able to do so in the last half of the overtake, so if anything had gone wrong there they would have been stuffed. The first five cars they pass there are reasonable size gaps to pull into if something caused them the need to move left, but then the five after they pass the truck they would have had to force their way in (and had they done so would have been lucky not to have caused an accident), and then the last group of three (motorhome, SUVish thing, caravan) then no chance pulling into any gap there with the speed differential (although by then they did have a clear line of sight).
