Sorry this isn't dash cam but it does involve a car and if it didn't look so painful (both physically and embarrassingly) it would be hilarious.

I'm gonna be honest and say that's a pretty cool video.

Not cool for any people he may collide with though.

Amazed there were so few people. Must have been a Sunday. Until May I used to work just a few metres from there. In the week it’s much busier than that.

Probably a 360 camera on a selfie stick.

Nah, it's a selfie stick. You can see he's holding in his right hand here, it's just that the software has edited it out.

Oh, that's very clever then.

And they used to say the camera never lies, oh how times have changed.

Looks like he is holding a frozen sausage.

It's a 360 camera mounted on a "stick" - because of the way 360 camera work it makes the "stick" disappear. He's then edited the footage to be more conventional but because he's captured a 360 video it allows for the editing you see.

Camera is clever but he's not cool, he just thinks he is. He's flying along through narrow roads with traffic and pedestrians trying to make you think he's so clever but predictably near silent and rapid progress, not to mention small, almost always ends the same way.

You do realise that article is worded and phrased in such a way as to lead you to forming that opinion? It's subtle, but it's pretty obvious.

I didn't read the article tbh. It's the Daily Fail.

The Insta360 ONE X with their "invisible selfie stick" I reckon.

https://www.insta360.com/product/insta360-onex

Insta bundle editing software that's really good at producing results like the video featured.

Yep
There was a certain inevitability to that clip and not undeserved
Might teach him a little more respect for other wink

No need for any special software it is just about using a 360 camera and setting it up in the correct way

Hi - hoping someone can help regarding some sh*t driving of our own caught on camera.

We got a Notice of Intended Prosecution through the door the other day dated 19 days after the alleged offence, addressed to my wife who's the registered keeper. 37 in a 30. Dumb dumb dumb.

My and my wife both drive the car. It is most likely to have been me that was driving but we can't say for certain (the location given a bit vague, and is close to our house, and we both used the car that morning).

Today I've got a NIP for the same incident.

It was recorded by manned equipment which I assume should mean there's photographic evidence.

I've written to the police to say that the NIP is out of date, and also that we can't be sure who was driving so could they provide any photographs (which they recommend on their askthepolice website).

I've also written to the DVLA to double check that the info they hold for us is correct.

Is there anything else we could/should be doing?
