And people say I’m predictable hehe

This is a discussion. I’m discussing why what has been said is complete bks, though I agree that even a tiny bit of checking could have been done by anyone. But they didn’t as it’s far better to bh and moan.

And I’m not at home, I’m in London enjoying the sun and watching the marathon. That okay with you chief?

Maybe spend a little less time racking up miles on the Kings Rd and select 'avoid motorway' on the Satnav?

You know that's a rhetorical question and not an instruction though and as part of a wider discussion about why one would chose to fly / transport cars as opposed to drive. As for following them on Instagram so I can see what they have or haven't been doing? I'll pass thanks and leave that to the likes of Mother Superior. Although she seems to think it's only a discussion as far as her remarks are concerned,

Whilst perusing YouTube earlier today I found a M3 CSL video uploaded by STG, I ended up having to skip through half of it. His mate had purchased the car and was clearly passionate about it but the prat from STG just spent his time mocking his mate and the car.

I guess there is a reason why I tend to stick to a few channels - Harry’s Garage, Carfection and PH’s very own 2manycarz.

Can we just head this off at the pass now please. I’ll stop and you lot stop. I really can’t be arsed with going through all the faux drama again. Let’s get back to the subject please.

Surprised there isn’t anything yet about shmee’s “intercooler” that is leaking coolant 😂

Is that an attempt at pretending it's not the intercooler? This is a Mercedes service recall, I've already had 5 GT R owners send me info about having had the exact same problem and unsurprisingly there's a bulletin out to fit a mesh on it now.

I guess he means about the use of the word ‘intercooler’ rather than ‘oil cooler’ (if it is oil) or ‘coolant radiator’ if it’s coolant.

Intercooler is normally used to refer to the in line cooling system for turbos/Superchargers?

Maybe?

I do not profess to be an expert, but RENNtech immediately said it was the intercooler, and then Mercedes-Benz Monaco's service tech immediately said it's the intercooler. Then multiple other GT R owners who have had it replaced also referred to it as an intercooler... Maybe everyone is wrong but I have no idea!

I dunno, I’m just a layman, moreseo than you when it comes to supercars obviously. I wouldn’t call it an intercooler, but that’s only because my knowledge of such things it’s pretty limited. I just assume that is what he was getting at.

Oh I agree, I'll wait for what the paperwork says when the work is carried out. I think I recall RENNtech referring to the other side as the oil cooler.

Is it actually coolant coming out then? Shows how crazy the engineering is that the gearbox has its own coolant system!
