Mine are somewhere in the middle; a shift down from Jon for sure, however interestingly picking out specific videos can often change the results.

Any video in its first day will have a younger viewership as those are the people clicking straight away, but then look at the last 90 days of a 12 month old video and the stats will be skewed towards much higher age groups - sometimes I can find videos where categories like 35-44 will the be largest. Makes sense for a Ferrari review if you consider who are actually the buyers...

Different topic, this seemed quite a well covered article:

https://www.cnet.com/news/inside-the-15-million-yo...

"If you're not working hard, there's someone that will be more than happy to work harder than you. If you start slacking off, there's someone out there who's hungry for that growth, who'll very happily take your place."
Wow great artical thanks for that.

I watch a few of these gamers along with car bloggers and I do always wonder how they manage to put so much effort and work into the videos, I dont know if I could do the hours they do and I work pretty darn hard.

My neice who is 7 is now creating her own videos and wants her own channel it shows how influential UT channel creators have become to inspire the younger generation who know nothing of money to do these jobs.

No, everything is set to work at that particular ratio. Big difference.
And matching that ratio with a staggered 20/21 setup is very easy.

I know Queen B has been mentioned a few times on here, and I never though her content was up to much at all, but this just cropped up on my YouTube and actually looks decent. Good quality editing and filming and some decent locations etc.

This is what I thought SOL was aiming for with his drift series. Definitely one to watch, the production looks very high level.

I know, right? biggrin

At least we can probably agree that, at best, Archie has been misinformed, and his plans for a 20/21 staggered wheel setup weren't quite the ticking time-bomb that he's been lead to believe. I really liked the look of the wheels he'd chosen tbf, and with the 1016 kit it would have looked great.

Yeah, totally agree. You could see when they went on that the offset was wrong and they didn’t have enough tyre sidewall. Though that was probably to try and reduce the difference in radius.

And if you go to a 20/21 setup you need to lower it too as the arch gap at the back looks crazy big.

Onwards and upwards though, he’s got an SVR to play with now! biggrin

Oh and I see Sam is only £250 away from hitting his target. Eat that naysayers!

For the ignorant, what is the link with Red Bull all about? What is the platform and what is the business model? Will they be paying her to make content for them, or providing sponsorship for content which she will own? Do they provide a production team? Etc.

Very good luck to her. I liked the videos she made last year for the Shmee channel and was sorry there weren't more. I thought she was very personable and she knew her cars. I chatted to her at Autosport and she was also very personable in person.

Anyone else noticed that of late watching most of the generic large Brit auto youtubers is akin to the pistonheads version of the kardashians? Content is pretty lacking actual content... on all of them. They all seem to be trying to review cars yet not be journos, and pretty much every time the Carfection video of the same car/launch/event is much better. Their passion seems to be restricted to new supercars/limited run cars, nothing really to do with the wider car community or track/racing content. And by community - i don't mean the Dubai Supercar Club.

Whilst LLF is annoying at best (his ponderous 'concentration' face makes me laugh every time), he does seem to look at some interesting stuff. Also watched a good chunk of DannyDC2's content, pretty interesting as he actually does things, and things happen.

AH could of done some interesting race related content but instead just acts like a bellend around Imperial wharf in cars i imagine Redline have loaned him.

Am i getting old?

Just watched MrJWW at a hipster (I counted at least one use of the word artisan) restaurant, coffee house, BnB for the well at heeled. Caffeine & Machine? Cars & Coffee? Dope heads & Mopeds? Anyway, I’m clearly too poor but if you’re looking for automotive art to buy with your skinny latte’ it might be just the place?

STG and 'Lenny the Geezer' do make an amusing double act (in small doses) and can both play up to their stereotype well.

If only all other Youtubers had the same self awareness.

How come every video is about how this car is going to be their next car but then the next video is about how that car isnt going to be their next car anymore?

I believe that is what is known in the industry as a 'twofer'.

I think possibly there's a formula for views -

Sol - the majority of his viewers weren't interested in him drifting they just want more supercars.

Queen B - people will quite literally watch somebody with breasts doing anything , so drifting will get her more viewers.
