I bet all the NVN haters are the same type of people that won't ever go to an upmarket restaurant or won't buy a first class plane ticket because they don't see the value in them. Ultimately it's not just about the end product, it's about the service and experience throughout. And by the looks of it, NVN are distinctly differentiating themselves from their competitors by offering a premium 'VIP' customer journey overall.
I've eaten in upmarket restaurants. I'm not sure that the food was any better than lesser restaurants tbh. I've eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant (one of the chefs won Professional Master Chef a year or 2 ago) and it wasn't even expensive. Your point there is pretty invalid.

I can't tell whether you're joking or not? You have just read the previous posts? I've got no interest in Mr JWW or NVN etc. But there's several people here clearly keeping their fingers crossed that NVNs fails, as if it makes f**k all difference to them (and presumably so they can boringly say "I told you so" while talking to their imaginary friends down the pub).

It just comes across as the usual British Tall Poppy syndrome. See someone succeed and try to cut them down. Yawn

oh and PS, just because someone in the thread later agrees with you (that they want it to fail) doesn't then make it OK

Is NVM Lounge for customers? or a social pod cast/ youtuber area thing? Or just mrjww vanity area? Are the wealthier people really that interested in sitting in the lounge to watch someone wash their car? Most of the wealthy I know just hire the mobile detailers to come whilst they are busy doing other things.

Aimed at a few people! As soon as anyone starts mentioning wealth or 'high end' luxury, so many always start posting about where they've eaten, or what they've done, or how much they've paid for something and it all gets a bit silly. Willy waving.

I'm wondering what the point of the NVN lounge is. I'm not sure how many of these supposedly high end & wealthy customers would drop their car off and then hang around for a few hours. I'm sure most cars will arrive & leave on a transporter with no physical contact from the customer.

This seems to make the lounge redundant if the customer themselves is unlikely to even show up, the only other uses it seems to serve is for hosting events and podcasts, something which JWW has said he wanted to do in the past. As for the hate towards NVN, this mostly seems to come from a small number of TGE fans on IG. I recall one TGE fan account being banned by IG owing to various comments/posts being made towards JWW/NVN.

As for the willy waving, I drive a 28 year old Toyota, a 14 year old Lexus, I shop at Aldi and buy my clothes off eBay, all so I can fund my addiction to track days byebye

The requirement for new money to spend as much of their money as possible to prove they have it knows no bounds, this is no different to the stately homes, art works of the past, vast ski chalets with the most ludicrous interiors that get used once a year. The top 1% of the world economy live and operate in such a way it is actually beyond normal comprehension. My view is it will be a success until there isn't a requirement to wrap cars in anything. The requirement for people to pay more than something is actually worth to prove their worth cannot be understated.

Agree, the guy that gives mine it’s bi-annual detail ( big wash ) has a very thriving mobile valeting business in the Ribble Valley looking after everything from vintage Blower Bentleys to modern exotics and yummy mummy rangies

I don’t think the vast majority would want to sit and watch him work

Not whilst there’s deals to be done ( ph powerfully built co director ) or gardener to ride ( trophy wife )

There does seem to be an arms race on at the moment. Thing is where do they go from here?
There are only so many hyper cars out there. The whole rebuild a Mustang/ hellcat from copart was getting rather stale

I stumbled across this video earlier, another project LP640 on YouTube https://youtu.be/uNcGyoHAk88

Should be interesting to see what they come up with.
