I think it's safe to say Archie won't be taking up a career in professional journalism any time soon.....

The insults thrown in here are nothing compared to the comments sections most YouTubers have.

I've actually replied to some of the more interesting remarks. One humorous exchange went along the lines of

Commenter: You're a see you next tuesday
Me: Oh, cheers
Commenter: Sorry, that probably came across a bit harsh. Didn't mean it
Me: Yeah, I guess your post was open to so many different interpretations....

‘Lewis Hamilton meets Archie Hamilton!’ or should that be ‘Archie Hamilton meets Lewis Hamilton!’?

I haven't watched the video so I don't know if that's supposed to be a joke.

Listened to the Collecting Cars podcast with Tiff last night - Since other posters pointed it out, I couldn't help but notice Chris does interrupt guests quite a lot. Initially it comes across a bit obnoxious but I think he's just genuinely over excited.

I think Chris reads this judging by some of the things he says on his podcasts, so Chris, if you're reading this, tone it down lad hehe

Came here to post this. Chance to interview Lewis and he did that? Useless. His ramblings are just so disjointed. Some other thoughts on what I watch on youtube:

SoL really needs to get his st together and read the hundreds of comments that are made on every video saying the same thing.

TGE is crap at the moment, nothing of interest there.

STG is always good to watch, very nicely shot.

Can’t wait to see B is for Build and TJ Hunt’s cars finally done for SEMA. Proper GT3 body kitted Huracan and 458, very cool.

Love the Stradman’s stuff at the moment too, even if you need to snort ten lines of coke before it makes sense.

Still not sure why Emma Walsh is getting long term loan cars.

Enjoy JayEmm a lot too, and Harry’s Garage/Farm always enjoyable. There, that’s about it.

I tend to reply to the really negative ones with "Thanks!" or "I love you too!" or something overly positive. They're fun.

Hoovies definitely worth a watch and am enjoying Suoerspeedersrob but his recent content is a bit talky no content.

Hes smashing the new BMW Celica to bits and basically believes its off the boil already and couldnt rent it out as no one wanted it.

BIFB is starting to lose me. No longer showing much detail in his builds, stuff just happens without much of an explanation on how he figured it out. He now has Oscar who is a professional fabricator and whilst that is giving him chance to do much bigger projects he is not really doing a lot on camera. It was always about seeing him learn through trial and error.

The cars are also never seen again after being "dream cars" and "this one will get used" "track / drag / drift".... erm nope. I think the only car we see regularly is the shop truck. The rest are god knows where.

This Lambo will go the same way. He keeps saying it will be a serious drag car and will go up against the likes of Leroy but there is just no way its taken Garrett at least 3 years to get to this point, 100s of passes, 100s of dyno pulls.

He does not even have the proper roll cage, dash bar, seat, harnesses etc to even enter a drag race in the same class as Leroy.

Yeah he does seem to be doing what Tavarish does, except he actually finishes builds. But then they disappear and onto the next one. I suppose he does do the road trips occasionally though.

Just seen STG has uploaded a video from Stradman’s house, will enjoy that one! Love all the collabs he’s doing.

Any other car channels I should be watching? Saw a video of a Mulgari BMW last week, enjoyed that a lot.

Edit: I’m surprised none of the youtubers have got the Alpine A110 and tweaked it. I’ve got one, no intention of ever selling it so in a couple of years I’m going to start modifying it (I’m too scared of killing the warranty on it right now). It’s a great platform and looks great too, cheap entry point for this lot too.

And I don’t count Seb as either being a youtuber or ‘owning’ his A110 as it did about 6miles.

Its probably cos the builds dont actually work very well, they can be great ideas on paper, interesting to see the work take place and look flash when completed but often the actual mechanical practicality is not there. A lot of SEMA stuff has been like that for years, they are surface-builds done to show off brand products and capabilities - and now the new addition of youtubers using it for content creation.

I noticed it too. Not really picked up on it until it was mentioned in here and now I can’t stop!

Still, a good episode which I really enjoyed.

For me this Huracan project on BisForBuild is losing interest. There's something funny about someone turning a GT86 into a bodged up deathtrap. For some reason it just doesn't translate to the huracan.

MrJWW has been slowing announcing changes to his channel on Instagram. Basically so far we've got 'guaranteed content days' (Wednesday and Saturdays), set upload times (6.30pm UK time) and also foreign language subtitles. There's still another couple of announcements to come.

Exciting sleep
Fourth announcement of the five... JWW is going to be launching his own podcast 'Full Chat'.
And the fifth... MrJWW is going to be launching his own range of eyewear! Didn't see that one coming....

I see where you’re coming from, I prefer the cheaper builds where he does it himself.

I have a question about promoted videos. As I said before, watched this video on the Mulgari BMW 2-Series: https://youtu.be/ewgp9f5eAAI

Very enjoyable, so are most of their videos, but they always mention BOTB, so why aren’t they sponsored videos? Or are they being naughty?

Most people on here will already be familiar with this, but you may have missed it.

They work for BOTB, Tim's a decent chap. They may not be getting paid for the BOTB promotion bit in which case box does not need to be ticked. Same as any YTer promoting their "own" stuff.
