Are these Vloggers just a scam? SOL or Shmee etc? (Vol 2)

If he still opens with “Hi guys I’m Shmee” then I’m not interested. Don’t really care what he’s doing.
He does but I usually manage to mute that bit if I think I am going to find the video interesting but I prefer the autobahn blasts to the yank stuff (appreciate it is a business, though!)jayemm89 said:
Shinjuku, no worries about me starting to lease a merry go round of cars. I've just bought some ITBs for my S2000!
I spotted Harry at the NEC Classic show yesterday with his Countach, would have chatted to him but he was pretty busy and I had stuff to do unfortunately - amazing show though, ridiculous selection of cars.
Watched Harry's Silverstone Auctions video. First and only time Harry has upset me...referring to Alpina alloys as 'Alpeen' (on that rather nice E30 325i). Must have listened to it 5-6 times just to make sure I hadn't misheard. Watched a video of him talking in a field and everything is right in the world again. All is forgiven.

Shmee’s content at the minute is absolutely top of the game right now!!!
Hilarious. 'Top of the game.' Are you sniffin' summat? The guy's an absolute frigger. If you're an 11yr old boy who gets a hard-on at the thought of being able to comment on 'little Timmy's' channel, praising him for showing off and name-dropping wherever he can and throwing mind-boggling sycophancy everywhere he goes, then fill ya boots. The truth about Timmy is that he'll never be truly authentic regarding what he feels because he's hopping beds with so many manufacturers his new girlfriend should really keep an eye on him. Christ, grow up, realise what's Timmy is about, and do him a favour, unsubscribe. SOUP is a vastly underrated channel - I'm not looking back through 500 pages in the thread to check if it's been mentioned before, but much more wholesome than hypercars on finance.

Sam's big error with DTW as I said right back at the beginning is that he should have included his Mrs in it. I understand that she probably doesn't want to be on the channel (she's got her own I seem to recall?) But having some banter and someone to bounce off plus making the series feel like a journey it would have had a totally different feel. There's no sense of the content been any kind of larger project its like totally separate content that could have been filmed by hopping on a plane and then coming home. Also it would have been very hard to do as YT does seem to be a treadmill for them but it would have been better to release the content in bingeable chunks so like the Australia series comes out as season 1. Might have made it more cohesive.
Ive mentioned this series before here but as a lesson on how to really put a travel series together on youtube search out kombi lifes "hasta alaska" a truly brilliant series. It did take him 7 years though! Interestingly this chap and his Mrs are currently doing another big trip driving across the world but trying to produce content as you go they are struggling to make it interesting and it's taking them forever to get their van built.
Sam really does set the technical standard amongst the tubers. Always beautifully shot videos and he's really likeable. A bit like Paul really we all want him to continue to do well but not sure what they can really do to grow. There will probably come a point when doing something different will make sense for some of these guys.

STG's vlogs tbh they are travel vlogs. Sam doesn't know anything technical about cars and he is detached from the market developments. I am clueless how marketing managers think that if they invite STG, SOL or Seb Delany to a new model introduction event they will help them selling more cars.
