I think I'd find this pretty satisfying.

That's probably in the top 5 of the most boring videos I've ever had the misfortune to waste my time watching

A 2.0 producing 450hp will have a power curve that looks like a cliff. It's bad enough in a 90s rally car, let alone a seven weighing 650kg, with a relatively narrow tread width.
I'm sure it will be truly frightening if you like that kind of fun, but be much less capable than an n/a car with 300hp and a linear power delivery.
Headline figures are only good for bragging in the bar, or on the internet.

Does that fall off a cliff? Or would it come past 99% of every car that anybody owns on this forum?
Best run was 767bhp 596 torque from a 2.0, You can stick that up your headline bar bragging figures.
From possibly one of the biggest sleepers you will ever come across

Ask me how I know. Been there, done that, built a sleeper. All cars like that are massively compromised. I turboed a Citroen AX, with a 16v engine.
Was great fun. Terrible on track despite having the same running gear as a saxo and go kart like handling. Corsa's handle terrible to start with, let alone with silly power delivery.
Sevens have their own limitations, I know this because I own one. Visibility (being so low down) is terrible, so they're difficult cars to drive fast on the road. Over 120mph things get a bit wayward, so top end is rather pointless. They're best suited to tight technical tracks which makes big power useless.
Great fun though no doubt, I love mine. But if you want a fast track car, a turbo just disrupts the chassis. 450hp in a seven is just number chasing.

Derbyshire twisties. :-)
If you mean the cat and fiddle. Most overated road in the UK. Surface is diabolical. Never been more disappointed.BrassMan said:

On a day like that? There isn't a car in the world that would get me off my bike.Winter/early Spring as in those shots, definitely the rapid car.

Question is if someone enjoys fast bikes and fast cars in equal measures which would be the preferred 'weapon' of choice on superb driving/riding roads like these?
Chimaera for me.. roof down... WOT, changing gear on the soft limiter.... epic sound...... clipping apexes..... lovely jubbly I have great fun with the bikes when I go to visit my parents during the summer. They live near in a touristy part of Scotland, en route to the start of the nc500 route, all the tourists about in flashy motors and bikes with no real knowledge of the local roads makes you feel like a driving god in your humble MX5.
Personally with bikes I prefer to let them pass and follow from behind, always give them ample room and stopping space for myself if the worst where to happen. Not a fan of having them behind me as, in my eyes, they are difficult to keep track off whilst they are weaving about in your rear view.

Why are these car vs bike threads always about what's fastest?
Pistonheads is just a place you can go on the Internet to play Top Trumps. Person A will compare a set of numbers to Person B's set of numbers and the best set of numbers win. This often results in Person B telling Person A he's a fat bender. Enjoyment and feeling cannot be expressed in numbers and thus are irrelevant to the proceedings. "I really like my bike, it feels amazing in corners!"
"A car is faster through the corner, though."
"Yes but I'm saying that the bike feels fantastic."
"The car is faster, though."
"I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I'm saying the bike feels really good despite being slower."
"I totally understand what you're saying but the car is faster."
