Barking bloody bonkers!!

But worth it because it is rare, many a numb-nut will claim.

I would rather feed my nuts into a meat blender than spend £130k on a "factory modified" M3.

£30k for a nice manual M3 on the other hand is an altogether appealing and fantastic prospect, albeit a little too close to my E39 M5 to warrant me getting one. Not good enough to replace the M5 and not different enough to have alongside the M5.

As a mega-limited edition M3 this would have been far cooler and more interesting as a Touring.

Get yourself the best possible E90 M3 for say £35k then spend a lofty £20k on mods. That's an outrageous £55k!
As much as I adore the CRT. This is undoubtedly a much more sensible option if having fun with 4 doors is your priority.

Saw one of these at the ring last year. So subtle parked up and no one batted an eye lid at it, assuming they didnt know what it even was, felt lucky to see it and have a look around it.
It wasn't this one was it? @ 6:57: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E54qPLhVgFQ

you could buy a regular E90 M3 saloon with just 30hp less for £100,000 less
Struggling to see how anyone would plump for one of these then. A curiosity, but when you could have a standard M3 and, I dunno, a Ferrari 355, for the same money, it doesn't make much sense.
