Due to some implausible scenario a generous benefactor is willing to buy you any three BRAND NEW vehicles you want.

What are they and why?

You can't immediately resell and buy something else, so stop trying to cheat.

911 Turbo S: Good car to use as a daily drive, fast, comfy and not that exciting also blends into the traffic well.

Aventador S: Something for the weekend sir? This is the car I would want. Loud, obnoxious and makes one feel like a rock star.

Ferrari FF or is it a GTC Lusso now. Either way you know what I mean: Dog bus, supermarket trips, general estate car duties.

Lambo Huracan in lime green. Amazing to look at, sounds great and properly rapid.

Toyota Land Cruiser as a family bus. Comfy for long trips, suitable for towing, off road ability and big enough for tip runs, IKEA shops etc.

VW Up GTI (or any other small hatch really) as a fun, cheap runabout when you don't want something too big or that attracts unwanted attention.

I'd love a Lotus Elise/Exige to the list as a manual rwd great handling car. But with an unlimited budget I couldn't say no to the lambo biggrin

911 4S for everyday and weekends away - rear seats needed for the dog and 4WD with a set of winters will give maximum use time.

Nomad with all the fun options

VW Transporter BiTDI Sportline fully kitted as a camper with a trailer for the Nomad.

I have modest needs and prefer cars I can drive and use than look at and polish.

If you don't consider money as an object then you probably don't have any, so you can't afford to buy three cars.

Rolls Cullinan with all possible options, lifted on AT tyres and a roof tent. This would be for going camping, towing, etc.

911 gt3 touring, daily driver

Praga r1t evo for trackdays. Google it. Saw one recently and the build quality and detail are amazing.

I posted this a few months ago:

One of these as a "practical" option:

This for fun:

This as a daily:

Although I could be tempted to swap the F150 for a VW Transporter camper conversion, and the Mustang for a 911 GT3 smile

M2, M3 & 911 GT3 RS.

In truth I don't like modern stuff.

Presumably they will only pay for the vehicles and not for insurance or maintenance?

I'll have an XC90, a Fowler A7 and an e-Golf

Alpina B5 Touring - You know, the snotter for the tip runs and for kids to fill with raisins

Morgan Roadster - Got a real thing for Morgans at the moment. Simple, relaxed pace topless motoring.

Caterham 360R - for playtime.

I like where you are going there, D-Type is an inspired choice.

Alpina B3 S Touring:

Car to do it all, for most of the time. Practi'cool' touring in an understated package.

Ferrari 488 Pista:

Something with that prancing horse, something Italian, a bit exotic.

Honda S660:

Manual, roof off, hilarious fun.
