Seems like every news article these days ends up with negative - and sometimes obnoxious - comments about the content or writing style.

Pistonheads doesn't cost you anything (unless you are listing a for sale ad of course). The news feed and forums are providing you with free daily content. Lighten up and enjoy it. No-one is forcing you to read this stuff...

Completely agree! Argue with each other on views regarding anything with wheels and a motor leave the rest in your head smile

agreed with the other comments - if any of the people having a moan want to have a go at an article - im sure haymarket would be happy.

(there are half a dozen of these Pajeros for sale on Ebay at the moment)

Dont read it then. The amount of moaning on here about the free content people are consuming is incredible.

That's a lovely car. A friend of mine from Odessa paid $250k for an ex works car 9 years ago and externally it does not look so different. Not quite sure if beats a well specced defender on looks though

I'm surprised noone has mentioned the deliberate mistake in the article. The "Dakar Rally" did not "actually start in Dakar before circling around the northwest wing of Africa..". It started in Paris and ended in Dakar. Brilliant car though and at that price a steal but only really if you wanted to drive to Dakar.

At least this one hasn't got comas sporadically strewn throughout the article!

Just the way it is lately. I wouldn't buy one over say, a Ford SVT Lightning.
