What Kit car am i thinking of?

So, it was in the late 80's early 90's era cars and im am sure there used ot be a Datsun 240z replica?
I know it sounds strange, why replicate a car that was then not so old or cool, plus it didnt have chrome bumpers but molded ones, i remember it in white and was more or less the same time Covin Porsche was popular

But i cant find it no matter how hard I google!

And no, it wasnt a base for another kitcar!

Any ideas?

My immediate thought too.
I loved the look in the mags but seeing one in the "flesh" was a bit of a disappointment. Looked bulky.
