Nice read OP. Every one of those cars would be good to own and drive.
Along similar lines to you, I think a Porsche ( but a 968 Clubsport) for the weekends teamed with an ever so practical Golf GTI (but a newish Mk7) for the weekdays would be a great start for my dream 100K Garage. I would make room for a non shiny 4x4 (Defender V8 probably) for winter fun and some sort of high liability classic car as well - thinking a Lancia Gamma or Citroen CX GTI for some reason! - If any cash left over some sort of nostalgia buy - a 106 Rallye, possibly, would feature.
These are my instinctive choices - but given more time I am sure they could change considerably!
