My next car list has a South Korean flavour with this & the up coming i30N Fastback.

0-60 in 7.5 seconds sounds a little slow for 200HP, when my 150PS Leon ST can do it in just over 8, reputedly.

Is it me or is there a whiff of Panamera in the rear end?

If you want an estate you want a nice boxy rear to you know load things. Sloping roof really diminishes what you can fit in it. My dogs head would constantly be rubbing the roof and it would be rubbish taking camping gear which can be long.
That's certainly why I want an estate. I don't mind that some estate cars have sloping rear rooflines - it takes all sorts to make a world, vive la difference and all that - but they all seem to be at it these days. In my brother's 3-series estate the roof starts to slope only a couple of inches behind the rear headrests - its more like a long hatchback. I'm not sure I'd even call this Kia an estate actually.
