you do know it can do 60 in about 6.5s right, which is not too bad for a 'limited performance' car, you really should have got a 330. The Legacy handles better than a 325 anyway but each to their own
A Spec B might do that, but the Shed of the Week never will!

Anyway IIRC my 325i reportedly does 0-62 in 7.1 seconds which works for me - I've got the Z4 Coupe if I'm in a hurry. (Which is why I wasn't too desperate to find a 330i). laugh

that Shed will take quite a bit longer i reckon, but Subaru make well built cars and that is no exception. Z4 is a tasty looking motor, id fancy a 6 pot turbo

A Shed I have literally used as a shed! My backpacker vehicle in NZ 15 years ago was an extremely beaten up, rapid only in its oxidising, 400000km leggy....cy!

Bought for $900 NZD provided transport reliable and accommodation for 3 months. Didn’t leave enough time to find a buyer in Christchurch at the end of the trip had to leave with keys under the matt next to the cathedral. It probably got squashed in the earthquake.

It’s was completely reliable and went up all manner of icy and muddy tracks without complaint! It’s not a car you can get affectionate about until you own one. It’s neither glamourous nor dynamically impressive but rust will kill it before you do plus it can definitely sleep two comfortably!

For these reasons great shed!
I'm still driving a '91 legacy in NZ! They're all over the place. So reliable, rugged and drive great for what they are. I love mine, and she (leslie) is a battered old thing. She's taken me up some dodgy ski field roads in even dodgier weather, driven me all around the south island, almost got stuck on a beach thanks to the idiot behind the wheel, taken me on numerous mtb trips and still she soldiers on.

As said before, the people quoting power and economy figures don't get this car. I'd never have needed one in the UK, but here in NZ it makes a lot of sense (in fact I went out of my way to buy one).
