Fantastic company and getting cooler and better all the time.
Never understood Morgan cars in my 20's or 30's .Bought an Aero in my 40's still got it and love it ..now want a 3 wheeler !

If you like engineering and hand made go to the factory..fantastic

love or dislike ...you gotta respect 110 years of manufacturing..amazing !

The place does get to you, one of my best motoring experiences was taking the wife round the factory tour and then the following day, hiring one of their factory cars for a day.

Even she who must be obeyed, who holds zero interest in cars adored the place and the car.

Infectious, is how i’d best describe them. People say you’re not a car guy unless you’ve owned an Alfa-is say it’s unless you’ve owned a Morgan!

Got to say I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on the 110.

Dealer has said when the car is at the right stage of production we will get a FOC factory visit, having watched loads of YouTube videos certainly looks an interesting place!

Never seen any of my cars in the manufacturing stage so the trip to the factory will be very special.

Swmbo and I had our first drive of a Morgan on Monday ahead of signing (we had agreed that if we didn’t like the way it drove we’d not go ahead).

Different doesn’t go near! Having had Defenders in the past, and a couple of older classic cars (1948 Daimler DB18, chrome bumper MGB soft top) I thought I knew what to expect but boy was I in for a surprise.

As has been said, the first 5 minutes were definitely a WTF moment, then as I relaxed into the experience the manic grin appeared and I was hooked. Felt much faster than it really was, pedal box wasn’t something I’d experienced before as they pedals seemed to press almost horizontally. Clutch seemed heavy at first, and no power steering combined with a poor turning circle made car park manoeuvres “interesting”. Great...right outside the dealers, but they’ve probably seen all that before.

Swmbo loved it, she said would be a bit of a pain as a daily driver but for what we want it for would be a lot of fun. She also found out the grip levels are quite high as approaching a sharp right hander the brakes didn’t quite respond as she’d anticipated...being in the right gear she booted it through instead, no drama!

Only 3 or 4 months to go...I’m sure normal sleep patterns will resume soon

Hired a 3 wheeler last year for a long weekend, just because.

Ever since then I have wanted, for no justifiable reason. It wasn't that quick, didn't handle that well (at all), was noisy, unrefined and utterly splendid. I have never driven anything that put such a smile on my face & I am saving up for the right one.

More or less the same here. I'm keen on the Pemby. Makes even less sense but delivers similar utterly enjoyable unrefined splendor. https://www.pembleton.co.uk

I've not heard of these before. I could find no reference to the engine they use. Guzzi perhaps?

Ah, but the difference is, nobody else has been making the same car for 110 years hehe
It must be a British thing, Caterham and McLaren are certainly following Morgan's lead boxedin

Factory fresh Guzzi engines indeed! Not sure if the self-build route is still offered, if so you then you can take your own route regarding engine choice.
