Also from the same sellers, a rather unusual 'Shooting Brake' edition!

I love the idea of a four-door Aston. Just not that four-door Aston...

Yes please! Series 2 or 3 for me, but not in white - a dark colour suits better.
I know these cars are Marmite (and it seems like more people hate than love) but then I also like the Rolls Royce Camargue, so I might just be an odd minority.

This gives a great rundown of the ins, outs and weirdnesses - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QP07Jq5b88M
If I had paid a significant amount for a car with such excruciatingly mediocre ergonomics I'd be forced to torch it. There's 'quirky' and then there's a flat out piss take.
Shape aside, the whole car smacks of 'good enough' followed by giving up completely, going home early and leaving the char lady to finish it off.
Any Aston employee could've installed a goat in it and within two minutes the goat would have committed suicide or lost its mind.

These seemed impossibly futuristic to a young lad like me in the early 80s, dated very badly during the next 20 years, but there was one at a classic car show near me a few weeks ago and it looked stunning, much to my surprise.
I always remember them being too large and a bit ungainly, maybe the increasing size of cooking motors in the last 30 years or so has diminished the size somewhat, and even with the comical wheelbase the wider variety of body styles nowadays means its bold appearance doesn't stick out as much as it did way back then.

Great polarising thread this one I know these cars are Marmite (and it seems like more people hate than love) but then I also like the Rolls Royce Camargue, so I might just be an odd minority.

I'm not fond of the Lagonda, but the Camargue is on my lottery list. If you want a car with a front end which says 'out of my way', this is it.
