I'm only seeing the colours of the other teams he drove for, blue and yellow of Renault and red of Ferrari ?

A nice gesture, but it seems the real reason for this 'story' is so we can yet again read the words "team boss Zak Brown said...".

If Brown's zeal for seeing his name in print matched the focus and talent he applied to resurrecting McLaren's fortunes, then Alonso wouldn't be retiring, he'd be celebrating his third championship.

Less ego-driven wind and pish, more speed on track, please judge

As mentioned by one of the commentators during the practice coverage on Channel 4 today - poor Vandoorne ain't getting a goodbye colour scheme....

It was a pretty fatuous comment by the commentator.

I hope it has an on-board deckchair for when it breaks down, so he can watch the rest of the race in comfort! laugh
