If 992 GT3 is normally aspirated can't wait to see how many lifers keep their 991 GT3s. Glut of 991.2 GT3s/Tourings in the classifieds in 12/24 months below list? whistle
Won't happen.

Even if 992 is NA.

Why?

Good spec 991.1 GT3s still retailing over list even at 4+ years old and despite the fact that the 991.2 is a far better package especially with that incredible engine and a 'manuel' gearbox.
I think you need to have a look at the official Porsche UK site. For such a limited production car I've never seen so many manual GT3s for sale inc a few Tourings. Its already happening.
Still selling at £25k premium.

Grey touring with 1100miles just sold for £200k Cardiff OPC.

Same low number of gen 2s available for sale as there were gen 1s at this point. Same with GT4s.

Contrast over 1200 458s in UK. Only 332 Gen 1 GT3s.

Parity on 'manuels' and PDKs for sale.

Spec is king. Many cars are badly specced. Just 3 proper spec 'manuel clubsports and 4 PDKs last week in OPCs.

Where the fk do you live then ???
UAE. we don't have the 911 subculture here..most people know Porsches for the Cayenne and Panamera.

The dealers get quite a big allocation and spec them all as regualar GT3s with PDK because they are sold to people who impulse buy them whilst shopping for a Cayenne and then use them to to cruise and pose. They soon sell them too.

I managed to get one change the spec one that was pre ordered for the showroom.

I am very lucky to have secured the very last factory order for a GT3 touring...arrives in February and something I hope to own for the rest of my days..
Congratulations. I hope you enjoy this for a long time to come.

If I was able to be in a position to acquire one of these I honestly don't see me getting rid of it. I was in my close friends GT4 and had a drive and man that car was brilliant!

lol the amount of people that come on here and say that then flip the f--- out of them. Sure you won't but you should have heard some of the nonsense from members on here when 911 R was being launched. Most of them all stuck them up for sale the minute the GT3 was announced smile

I am not in a position to have one of these toys just yet. I expect to in a few years time.

If there is another n/a GT Porshce I will be over the moon. I will take the 991.2 GT3 ta very much in a few years time (I'm sure a glut of them will come onto the market) and let the big boys fight over the shiny new toys.

I’m really not sure there will be a particular excess of GT cars at any point. Remember that that’s the whole issue for debate - they have produced less than the market will take - and so I can’t see why the passage of a few years will impact that. Do we see an excess of 996, 997 GT3 cars for sale?

If you compound that with the fact that it seems as though the 992 car will be £120k for a good spec non GT car then I think that can only provide extensive price support to the 991.
