I think they're going great!

Not as a way to agree a set of sensible terms for our future relationship with our largest trading partner and closest neighbours. They're a dead loss on that score.

But they are doing a brilliant job of showing just how arrogant and incompetent our political class are, and just how slavish their devotion is to this project which for half a century they have claimed was little more than a trading arrangement.

They have finally been forced to concede that it's a political project to build a country called Europe. This was not widely acknowledged right up until the referendum.

There's no telling how this will play out in the long run but one option is well and truly off the table for ever: the option of politicians quietly dismantling our democracy while pretending that it's just a trade deal and we have no other options anyway.

Theresa May! Boris Johnson! Jaxon Rees Mogg! James Dyson! David Davies! Nigel Farage!

Your Brexit took one hell of a beating yesterday!

But today is another day so let's see what the politicians have for us today. I hope that the Remain brigades haven't started their fightback too early. I'm a little concerned that we might galvanise the various Leave factions into one coherent group that will vote TM's deal through.

Got to love remainer logic.

When the Brazilian chief of a Japanese car company says we should remain he's a sincere businessman with our best interests at heart, and we should take heed. When James Dyson comments in favour of leaving he's a cynical disaster capitalist scum bag we should ignore.

In fairness, the way that brexiters reject any boss expressing legitimate concerns as "project fear" is a bit much.

People like Dyson offer some balance, so I am ok with that even though I think his vacuum cleaners suck.

On the subject of the march to support brexit, the problem for the average leaver is that it would be like going on a KKK march to show that you're a Republican.

Got to love Brexiteer logic.

As soon as they don't like a simple question they bring someones nationality into the argument.

I'd have brought in the fact that your best mate has just been fired for corruption and his words aren't worth a bean personally.

But surely you understand that his nationality, that he doesn't live in the UK or have any substantial ties to the country, and the nationality of his company are relevant because it points to a self-interest that is not necessary aligned with the best interests of the UK.?

Take along a tin of Bird's custard and some will take you seriously wink

I saw loads on the People's March back in October, even the News readers commented.

Was it really the Peoples March, or half the Peoples?

‘In fairness’ the way that certain Remsiners make blanket statements that are demonstrably wrong (and then try and shift the goalposts when they are found out) is somewhat boring.

The organisers called it the Peoples March, how many turned up varies dependent on who you listen to or what you read.

Ping the organisers an email and they'll delight in answering your queries: info@peoples-vote.uk
