Bravo Mclaren. Bravo
Yep, that is magnificent.Worth a second to pause and look where Mclaren, as a manufacturer has come from in the last ten years, obviously not from nothing but in terms of supercar production it is, ok, they made the landmark F1, then had a rest for 20 odd years and now you regularly see McLaren cars out on the road which is fantastic.
A British company up there with the best, no excuses need to be made and the dont smell of glue and wet carpet.
We may joke about all the various special editions but at the end of the day, its brilliant.

Beauty most definitely is in the eye of the beholder. Just looks like a car that has taken styling cues from an electric shaver to me.
This must be when people are getting used to ugly supercars. THIS IS JUST NOT BEAUTIFUL! The Vambo said:

Yeah, since the MP4 was released 2011 but was sort of thinking more around development and stuff, it was originally unveiled in 2009, either way, its not long in the scheme of things.
And to add they are actually turning a profit, something quite a few other smallish British sports car manufacturers have struggled with long term.Super cars were never anything other than startling. They all have their own aesthetic and they demand that you tune in to that to appreciate them on a case by case basis.
I think what Mclaren have done here is to be applauded, especially after the recent Senna and Speedtail, both of which seem to be difficult to appreciate designs for most people at the moment.

Yep, you all got so used to ugly supercars that you all have forgotten what aesthetics is about. You DON’T know what good design is.
You own a Ferrari 550 apparently. The most bland and generic Ferrari design of the last 30 years. Looks like a stretched Toyota Supra. FACT.
Actually, everything you think is attractive is in fact hideous (if it differs from my opinion).
...annoying isn’t it.
