Bladed article in public is a very serious offence - threatening with bladed article is Crown Court and a second conviction for offensive weapon/bladed article is 6 months minimum.
Really?
What about the bloke last week with the zombie knife attacking the car, 2nd offence, suspended sentance.

I the guys in the van were packing - maybe a nice compact 45, there would have been no issues.
Yeah, because that approach has worked really well on a societal level in the States....

I remember when you used to be a sensible and intelligent poster here.

They did better, they got it onto Facebook for the weekend which means it will be daily mail fodder by Monday and BBCNews by Tuesday. Police will see it some time in January.

Hindsight is a great thing. The chap in the van handled it all very calmly and was decent throughout.

Not really - what was the driver actually doing that he needed to be paid for?

Wearing a Hi-Vis and absorbed with his phone - maybe a bit more attention to events around him might have justified paying him above minimum wage? banghead

Having a break...HAVING A BREAK?!
Whatever next.
Next time I see a worker not working, I too shall verbally assault them and pull out a blade because inevitably someone will appear to justify such actions, so it’s fine right?
NOW GET BACK TO WORK SLACKERS.
