Don't get that at all. I think it's aging beautifully. It would still hold its own in a modern car park. Those curves over any of the VAG angles and blocks. And don't get me started on the anaphylaxis-faced current Bavarian offerings. Even in doom blue, the 156 is a beaut.

We’re all I’m entitled to an opinion personally always struggled with the looks of most Alfa’s ! Not my cup of tea .

There latest adaptations are much better . Or a real Alfa say : 2000 GT or a spider Very pretty ! however most early/mid 2000 cars are scrap value for a reason.

That’s my opinion of Audis and BMWs of the era...

Fair comment. It is the only car I have ever owned that I've wanted to look back at, and probably the only car I ever had (real) pride in!

It's still looking stunning on eBay with a price drop. It was an eBay serving suggestion when I was perusing V6 Alfas. There's a 40K mile 166 on there but only MoTd til next month.

I cannot allow my heart to rule my head on vehicle purchases until the end of the year. I'd not be selling the 156 if it was mine. Cars tend not to survive me. They die, I get given a replacement or they've just too much wrong to be worth fixing.

I've spotted this week's shed. We've had one before as a shed, but it's a good one.

A photo from the eBay listing.

Find a nice 156 and you will take care for it. When you are a true petrolhead. They are such great cars. Same goes for a 147...
