Hello Everyone, I have been working with the chap that runs Trolley Jack Adaptors to develop a set of pads to fit my 2007 V8 Vantage (see picture ).

Other than using my car as a template, I should point out that I have no financial or other commercial connection with this undertaking.

This chap has a lot of experience in designing and producing jacking pads and has been in business many years (see https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/trolleyjackingpads ) with 14000 plus positive feedback.

He is now offering sets of pads, which are 74mm in circumference and 40mm tall, initially exclusively to Pistonheads and AMOC forum frequenters. These pads will fit V8 Vantage up to 2009 (incl. V8 N400) and possibly DB9 and V8 Vantage Prodrive. The offer is a set of pads for £49 including recorded delivery.

If anybody is interested, you can PM me with your e-mail address or e-mail Trolley Jack Adaptors direct at cava.mar2@aol.co.uk

He is also looking for someone that is willing to work with him to develop Pads for the later V8/V12 Vantages to ensure the pads are the correct shape and size.

Let me know what you think, cheers, David

Hi the jacking pads look really well made but must mention that V8 Vantage Roadster rear jacking points have a slightly different layout due to the extra stiffening panel the Roadster has.
My ones look as above great project.
Regards.

Can anyone confirm if these would fit a DB9? (2005) as I suspect it would be different

Hi Vulcan26, I am told there is a difference between the Vantage and DB9 but the chap making the pads is working on a DB9 version that will be available shortly. He tells me price ought to be about the same.
If you want some suggest you e-mail him to get on the waiting list.
Cheers, David

Just received a set from Steve, dropped them off personally. Superb bit of kit, well made and fit perfectly. Really nice chap, obviously knows his stuff, highly recommended.

From a jacking landing surface on the chassis, is the V12V any different from the V8V? If unsure take a photo of front and rear chassis jacking areas and post here, then I should be able to tell if there is a difference or not.

As far as Im aware V8 Roadster and 2012.25 onwards variants are the same as the roadsters rear undertray was fitted as standard to improve stiffness

The V121V should be the same

Once you have some for this later spec I will deff buy

I've sent a couple of messages to the seller mentioned in Davids first post via email and his eBay contact link but not yet had a reply. I understand he's a one man band and could therefore be extremely busy so just wondering if anyone else has been able to contact him?
