Look like ceramics on the Audi. Quite an expensive upgrade. Probably lightly modified in other areas too.
Its the Audi Press Office car. Its got rare buckets with cloth centre sections too.
I've only seen those in one other car in my Autotrader daily browsing.
Shame to plaster it in salt.

Just put a deposit on an RS4 yesterday - can't wait to pick it up. These are surely at the bottom of the depreciation curve now and the only way is up? Mine is £20k and has had all the usual issues sorted, has new tyres & brakes all round and getting a comprehensive 12 month warranty with it.
I've always wanted one but addiction to Mitsubishi Evo's has kept me off them, but alas no longer.
What spec have you bought Geoff ?I've always wanted one but addiction to Mitsubishi Evo's has kept me off them, but alas no longer.
(We have met at Shelsley - I think you were in a GT-r ?).

Daytona Grey, Sports steering wheel, standard seats. Exactly what I wanted.(We have met at Shelsley - I think you were in a GT-r ?).
Never been to Shelsley - if you had an Evo VI RSX then so did I (along with 14 other evos and 15 years on MLR)
I can't wait to get this RS4 - absolutely loved the test drive last Saturday - so different to my last 30 turbo'd cars.
Oh god, the R34 for me, without question.
As an adolescent, reading Max Power, Revs et al, the hype surrounding these things in mid-late 90's made them four wheeled deities.
Years later, I experienced a mildly tweaked R34 GTR for the first time. It was exceptional. One of the literal handful of times I've stepped out of a car with my heart in my mouth, my legs like jelly and my mind desperately trying to work out how I could get my hands one.

I’m a German car but but the Audi brand leaves me totally cold except the original Quattro and an r8 v10.
Only good thing about that rs4 is the engine makes a good noise. Other than that I’m not remotely interested.
Having never liked jap stuff previously, I’m now a total I turn and have a massive want of an r34 !

Me? I could happily sit in the garage with a beer and just look at my R34 GTR. Make it a Millennium Jade Vspec II Nur, and I'd need some tissues to go with it.
...an Audi estate? Not so much.
TMI buddy....an Audi estate? Not so much.

Two cracking cars and with a certain something lacking from much modern machinery. Loved my old B7 RS4 and that was the allegedly rubbish cabrio. Beautiful engine, manual box and just a lovely thing to drive. I'll not be surprised when the prices rise. The R34 just has that look and I'd love a go in one.

4.2v8 n/a soft top great looks and such a great price - or a SL55 k for the same £Welshbeef said:

The RS4 V8 is no acception. If you maintain these V8's the way you should you will have no shortage in power. Neglect them and only than you come up short.
OT: Love the R34 Skyline, much better looking than the R35, but since it is available in RHD only, not an option for me. Don't want to have a fast car with the wheel on the wrong side of the dashboard for my country. So the RS4 it is.

Anyone else notice that the R34's wheels are Rotas?
Very surprised at that, given it's a Nissan heritage car. I'd have thought Rays or BBS.
Odd, imo.
They're not Rota wheels. They're Desmond Regamaster Marquis Promada, expensive wheels in their day.Very surprised at that, given it's a Nissan heritage car. I'd have thought Rays or BBS.
Odd, imo.
That said, the car should be wearing original forged R34 wheels, really....
